Sponsorship is most common in positions requiring specialized knowledge in electrical engineering, software development, data science, and environmental systems.
What visa types does Pacific Gas and Electric Company sponsor?
PG&E sponsors H-1B, EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. This range indicates a company comfortable with both temporary and permanent immigration pathways. International students and skilled professionals from Canada and Mexico applying under TN status will find PG&E among the more accommodating large utility employers.
Which departments or roles at PG&E are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at PG&E is most common in technical and engineering-heavy departments, think electrical engineering, grid operations, software and data platforms, environmental compliance, and project management within capital infrastructure programs.
