Meet Our Team
No‑code and low‑code are more than trends at Pega—they are foundational to how we help the world’s largest enterprises design, build, and scale intelligent applications. As Pega continues to evolve the Pega Infinity™ platform, data, AI, and autonomous agents are becoming the backbone that powers real‑time decisioning, customer engagement, and intelligent automation across every channel.
This role is a hybrid position with a minimum of three days out of our Waltham, Massachusetts office.
Picture Yourself At Pega
In this role, you will shape the future of Pega’s master data and AI‑powered data activation capabilities. You will lead product strategy and execution for data platform services that enable enterprises to unify, govern, reason over, and activate customer and reference data using modern AI techniques and agent‑based architectures. This position is ideal for a technically strong product manager who has built or owned MDM and/or CDP platforms in complex enterprise environments and is excited about applying AI, AI agents, and modern vibe coding approaches (rapid, iterative, AI‑assisted development) to accelerate platform innovation. You will act as the connective tissue between engineering, architecture, AI/decisioning teams, applications, and customers—ensuring Pega’s data and AI platform capabilities meet the needs of modern, cloud‑native enterprises.
What You'll Do At Pega
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in software product management and/or software engineering, with significant ownership of platform or infrastructure products for large enterprises.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager (or closely related role) for Master Data Management (MDM), Customer Data Platform (CDP), or enterprise data platform products.
- Hands‑on experience with or exposure to platforms such as Informatica, Salesforce Data Cloud, Azure Dataverse, or similar enterprise data solutions.
- Strong understanding of data and AI architecture concepts, including relational and NoSQL data stores, data modeling, metadata management, APIs, event streaming, and real‑time processing.
- Experience working with AI and ML‑enabled systems, such as intelligent matching, recommendations, classification, or decisioning.
- Familiarity with AI agents, orchestration frameworks, or agent‑like architectures that combine data, reasoning, and action.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern SaaS delivery models.
- Familiarity with data governance, security, privacy, and compliance requirements in enterprise environments.
- Ability to read technical designs, engage in architectural trade‑off discussions, and challenge assumptions constructively.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Prior experience building or scaling AI‑driven data platforms, CDPs, or MDM solutions with embedded intelligence.
- Exposure to generative AI, LLM‑based systems, vector search, or hybrid transactional/analytical platforms.
- Experience working in teams that leverage AI‑assisted development, rapid prototyping, and "vibe coding" approaches.
- Demonstrated executive‑level storytelling: ability to frame strategy, trade‑offs, and investment asks in a crisp narrative for senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Experience leading executive readouts (e.g., QBRs/MBRs), preparing CEO/CPO/CTO briefings, and influencing decision‑makers through clear written docs and compelling presentations.
- Background as a software engineer, data engineer, or architect before transitioning into product management.
- Experience defining data models and APIs consumed by AI agents, decision engines, or autonomous workflows.
- Nice to have: experience engaging external audiences (analysts, partners, conferences) to communicate product strategy and platform differentiation.
Who You Are
- A senior‑level product manager with a strong technical foundation and a passion for building intelligent, enterprise‑grade data and AI platforms.
- Comfortable operating at the intersection of product strategy, deep technical execution, and emerging AI paradigms such as autonomous agents.
- Experienced presenting product vision, strategy, and technical concepts to senior leadership, including executives such as the CEO, Chief Product Officer, CTO, and other C‑level stakeholders.
- An excellent communicator who can clearly articulate complex technical topics to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Excited by fast‑moving, iterative product development and modern vibe coding cultures that emphasize experimentation and learning.
- Able to influence and align cross‑functional teams across product management, engineering, architecture, data science, and go‑to‑market functions.
- Confident engaging with highly technical customers, architects, engineers, and data leaders.
- Pragmatic, outcome‑driven, and experienced in balancing long‑term platform investments with near‑term business value.

Target roles that align with Pegasystems's core platform
Pegasystems hires heavily around its low-code automation and AI decisioning products. Roles in software engineering, platform architecture, and product management are the most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship, so tailor your application to those areas.
Understand the H-1B is their primary sponsorship vehicle
Pegasystems predominantly sponsors H-1B visas for skilled tech roles. If you're currently on F-1 OPT, positioning yourself for a direct H-1B transition with Pegasystems is a realistic path given their active sponsorship history in that category.
F-1 students should pursue CPT and OPT roles strategically
Pegasystems has sponsored both CPT and OPT candidates, particularly in engineering and consulting. Applying for internships or entry-level roles while on F-1 status can build the internal relationship needed for full-time H-1B sponsorship down the line.
Green Card sponsorship is reserved for established employees
Pegasystems does support Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 pathways, but typically for employees who have demonstrated long-term value. Joining with an H-1B and proving your impact is the most reliable route to initiating that process.
TN visa holders from Canada and Mexico have a viable entry point
Pegasystems sponsors TN visas for qualifying Canadian and Mexican professionals in eligible tech and engineering roles. If you hold TN-eligible qualifications, this can offer a faster hiring path while maintaining eligibility for H-1B sponsorship later.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified Pegasystems openings that sponsor
Not every Pegasystems job posting mentions visa sponsorship explicitly. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and identify Pegasystems roles where international candidates have been hired before.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Pegasystems sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Pegasystems sponsors H-1B visas and it is the company's most frequently used work visa category. Sponsorship is concentrated in technical and product roles tied to their enterprise software platform, including software engineering, solutions architecture, and product management. Candidates with skills aligned to Pegasystems's AI and automation stack are well positioned to be considered for sponsorship.
Which visa types does Pegasystems sponsor?
Pegasystems sponsors a range of visa types including H-1B, TN visa, J-1 visa, and F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates. They also support Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-tenured employees. H-1B remains the dominant category, reflecting their focus on hiring experienced international tech professionals.
Which departments or roles at Pegasystems are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Pegasystems is most common in software engineering, platform development, data science, and technical consulting roles. These departments drive the company's core Pega platform products and consistently hire international talent. Roles in sales, marketing, or general administration are far less likely to come with visa sponsorship support.
How do I find open jobs at Pegasystems that include visa sponsorship?
The most reliable approach is to search for Pegasystems on Migrate Mate, which tracks companies with verified sponsorship histories so you can identify roles where international candidates have genuinely been sponsored. This filters out listings where sponsorship is uncertain or unlikely, saving you time and reducing the risk of pursuing roles that won't come through.
How do I approach the application process at Pegasystems as an international candidate?
Apply directly to roles that match your technical background and mention your visa status early in the recruiter screening call rather than waiting. Pegasystems has established HR processes for sponsorship, so the conversation is rarely a surprise to them. Having your OPT or current status documentation ready and understanding your H-1B timeline will help the process move more smoothly.
