Lead with customer success and SaaS expertise
Planhat's core product sits at the intersection of customer data and revenue intelligence. Candidates with backgrounds in customer success, SaaS operations, or B2B software will resonate most strongly with hiring managers and are well-positioned for sponsored roles.
Target roles that align with Planhat's sponsored visa types
Planhat has sponsored E-3, F-1 OPT, and TN visas, which points toward roles suited for Australian citizens, recent graduates on OPT, and Canadian or Mexican professionals. Tailor your application to emphasize how your status fits their sponsorship history.
Australian applicants should highlight E-3 eligibility early
Planhat has sponsored E-3 visas for Australian nationals. If you're Australian, flag your E-3 eligibility in your cover letter and initial outreach, it signals lower sponsorship burden and can make your candidacy more attractive to a smaller tech company.
F-1 OPT candidates should apply with ample lead time
Planhat has sponsored F-1 OPT candidates, so recent graduates should apply well before their OPT clock becomes a concern. Giving a company enough runway to plan around your authorization period is especially important at a focused, growth-stage software company.
Search for open roles through a verified sponsor database
Not every job posting discloses visa sponsorship upfront. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you confirm Planhat is actively hiring before you invest time in a full application.
Emphasize technical depth relevant to a modern customer platform
Planhat competes in the customer intelligence and data space. Whether you're in engineering, product, or data roles, demonstrating familiarity with SaaS metrics, customer lifecycle tooling, or API-driven integrations can meaningfully differentiate your application.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Planhat sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship records, Planhat has not sponsored H-1B visas. The company has sponsored other work visa types including the E-3 visa for Australian nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates, and TN visas for Canadian and Mexican professionals. If H-1B visa sponsorship is your primary need, it's worth confirming directly with Planhat's recruiting team before applying.
Which visa types does Planhat sponsor?
Planhat's sponsorship history includes the E-3 visa for Australian citizens, F-1 OPT and CPT for international students completing degrees in the U.S., and TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional roles. This range suggests the company is open to international talent across multiple immigration pathways, particularly in the Technology & Software space.
What types of roles at Planhat are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Given Planhat's focus on customer platform software, sponsored roles have historically skewed toward technical and product-oriented positions. Engineering, customer success, data, and product management roles are most commonly associated with visa sponsorship at technology companies of this profile. Roles requiring specialized skills tied to SaaS infrastructure or customer intelligence tooling tend to be the strongest fit.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Planhat?
The most reliable approach is to search for Planhat directly on Migrate Mate, which aggregates verified sponsorship data so you can see the company's real filing history before applying. From there, cross-reference with Planhat's own careers page to identify currently open roles. Focusing your search this way avoids wasting time on listings that don't actually support international candidates.
How do I time my application to Planhat if I'm on F-1 OPT?
Planhat has sponsored F-1 OPT candidates, so timing matters. Apply at least two to three months before your current work authorization expires to give the company room to plan. Be upfront about your OPT end date and any STEM OPT extension eligibility in early conversations, it reduces uncertainty for the employer and keeps the process moving efficiently.
