Verify Your Clinical Credentials Match Ohio Requirements
Ohio requires state licensure for most clinical roles. Before applying, confirm your foreign credentials have been evaluated by an approved body and that your license is transferable or obtainable in Ohio, since Premier Health Partners cannot move forward with sponsorship until licensure is resolved.
Target Roles with Documented Specialty Shortages
Healthcare roles in specialties with documented workforce shortages, like certain nursing and allied health positions, are more likely to receive employer sponsorship commitment. Search Premier Health Partners' active postings for roles where the job description specifies a required degree field, which signals specialty occupation eligibility.
Ask About LCA Timelines Before Accepting an Offer
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before USCIS can process your H-1B petition. Ask Premier Health Partners' HR team when they plan to submit the LCA so you can align your start date with realistic processing windows.
Confirm J-1 Waiver Eligibility for Physician Roles
If you're a physician currently on a J-1, a Conrad 30 waiver may let you stay in the U.S. by committing to work in an underserved area. Premier Health Partners operates in regions that may qualify, so clarify this during the offer stage rather than after signing.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Open Roles by Visa Type
Not every healthcare posting at Premier Health Partners will advertise sponsorship explicitly. Use Migrate Mate to browse their open positions filtered by the visa types they've sponsored, so you're applying to roles where international candidates have a realistic path.
Prepare Employment Verification Documents Early
Premier Health Partners participates in E-Verify, which means your work authorization will be confirmed electronically after hire. Have your I-94, EAD, or visa documentation organized before your start date to avoid delays in the E-Verify process that could affect your first day.

Does Premier Health Partners sponsor H-1B visas for Healthcares?
Yes, Premier Health Partners sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying healthcare roles. Eligibility depends on whether the position meets the specialty occupation standard, meaning a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field is normally required for the role. Clinical and technical healthcare positions typically meet this bar, while certain support roles may not qualify.
How do I apply for Healthcare jobs at Premier Health Partners?
You can browse and apply for healthcare openings directly through Premier Health Partners' careers portal. For a faster way to identify which roles are open to international candidates and visa sponsorship, Migrate Mate lists Premier Health Partners positions filtered by sponsorship history, so you're not applying blindly to roles that won't consider visa holders.
Which visa types does Premier Health Partners commonly use for Healthcare roles?
Premier Health Partners has sponsored H-1B visas and also works with F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and J-1 classifications for healthcare positions. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in specific healthcare occupations listed under the USMCA. J-1 is common for physicians in training programs, though it carries a two-year home residency requirement in many cases.
What qualifications does Premier Health Partners expect for Healthcare roles?
Expectations vary by role, but most clinical positions require a relevant degree, active state licensure or eligibility to obtain one in Ohio, and in some cases board certification. For foreign-educated applicants, credential evaluation from a recognized body is typically required before the hiring process can advance. Administrative and technical healthcare roles may have different but equally specific requirements.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Healthcare role at Premier Health Partners?
Timelines depend on the visa type. H-1B standard processing through USCIS can take several months after the DOL certifies the Labor Condition Application. Premium processing is available for H-1B and reduces USCIS adjudication to around 15 business days. F-1 OPT authorization can take up to 90 days from application, so starting the process well before your intended start date is critical.
