Get your credentials evaluated before applying
International nursing credentials must be evaluated by a CGFNS-approved organization before most U.S. employers will move forward. Have your evaluation completed and your NCLEX passed before you reach out to Premier Health Partners, so you're not losing offer timelines to credentialing delays.
Confirm state licensure requirements early
Premier Health Partners operates in Ohio, which requires an active RN or LPN license before you can start. If you're on OPT or CPT, confirm your license application timeline aligns with your work authorization window so you're not caught between expiring status and pending licensure.
Target units with persistent open requisitions
Healthcare systems with ongoing nursing shortages, including med-surg, ICU, and telemetry, are more likely to move through sponsorship paperwork for the right candidate. Applying to Premier Health Partners roles that have been posted repeatedly signals where their hiring pressure is highest.
Understand how H-1B timing affects your start date
If Premier Health Partners files an H-1B cap-subject petition for you, the earliest you can start is October 1 of that fiscal year. Build that gap into your offer negotiation so both sides plan for it rather than treating it as a surprise.
Use Migrate Mate to filter nursing roles by sponsorship type
Not every nursing listing at Premier Health Partners specifies which visa categories the employer will support. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for roles open to your visa type, so you're only spending time on applications where sponsorship is already confirmed.
Ask HR to clarify the LCA filing timeline at offer stage
For H-1B and TN sponsorships, your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before petitioning USCIS. At the offer stage, ask Premier Health Partners HR directly whether LCA filings are handled in-house or through outside counsel, and what their typical turnaround is.

Find Nursing at Premier Health Partners JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Premier Health Partners sponsor H-1B visas for Nursings?
Yes, Premier Health Partners has sponsored H-1B visas for nursing roles. Nursing positions typically qualify as specialty occupations under H-1B requirements because they require at least a bachelor's degree in nursing. That said, sponsorship decisions are made on a role-by-role basis, so confirm directly with their HR team that the specific position you're applying for is eligible before proceeding.
How do I apply for Nursing jobs at Premier Health Partners?
You can browse and apply for nursing roles at Premier Health Partners through their careers portal or through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm eligibility before applying. Have your NCLEX results, credential evaluation, and Ohio nursing license ready to attach or reference early in the process, as healthcare employers move quickly once a candidate clears those checkpoints.
Which visa types are commonly used for Nursing roles at Premier Health Partners?
Premier Health Partners has sponsored H-1B, TN, J-1, and F-1 OPT and CPT work authorizations for nursing positions. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals with a nursing degree and a qualifying job offer. J-1 is common for exchange programs with a built-in return requirement. F-1 OPT gives recent graduates a window to work before transitioning to a long-term sponsored status like H-1B.
What qualifications does Premier Health Partners expect for sponsored Nursing roles?
Most sponsored nursing roles at Premier Health Partners require an active Ohio RN or LPN license, a passing NCLEX score, and a degree from an accredited nursing program. For international graduates, a credential evaluation from a CGFNS-approved body is standard. Specialty units such as ICU or labor and delivery may also require relevant clinical experience or specialty certifications on top of base licensure.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Nursing role at Premier Health Partners?
Timeline depends on the visa type. TN sponsorship can move in days to a few weeks since it doesn't require USCIS approval. H-1B cap-subject cases follow the annual lottery cycle, with a potential gap of several months before an October 1 start date. J-1 sponsorship timelines are set by the exchange program. Get clarity from Premier Health Partners HR on their filing process as soon as you receive an offer.
