Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Nursing Aide Jobs at Prometric Jobs
Align Your Credentials to Testing Center Requirements
Prometric's Nursing Aide roles often support proctored healthcare certification exams, so highlighting any CNA certification or hands-on patient care experience signals direct relevance. State-issued Nursing Aide credentials carry more weight than general healthcare exposure.
Target Locations with Active Test Center Openings
Prometric operates testing centers across many states, and sponsorship decisions often happen at the site level. Applying to locations with multiple open Nursing Aide postings signals higher hiring urgency and increases your odds of reaching a sponsorship conversation.
Ask Directly About the LCA Filing Timeline
Before accepting an offer, ask Prometric's HR team when they plan to file the Labor Condition Application with DOL. LCA certification typically takes seven business days, and delays push back your H-1B start date, which matters if you're transitioning off OPT.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Prometric Nursing Aide Openings
Sponsorship-eligible Nursing Aide postings at Prometric don't always surface on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Prometric roles that match your visa type, so you're applying only where sponsorship is a realistic outcome.
Verify E-Verify Enrollment Before Submitting Your Application
Employers sponsoring H-1B workers are required to participate in E-Verify. Confirm Prometric's test center location is actively enrolled before you invest time in the application process, since unenrolled sites cannot complete the I-9 verification required for sponsored employees.

Find Nursing Aide at Prometric JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Prometric sponsor H-1B visas for Nursing Aides?
Prometric has sponsored H-1B visas for Nursing Aide roles, though sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open position. Your strongest path is applying to locations with active openings, confirming sponsorship intent during the offer stage, and ensuring the site is E-Verify enrolled, which is a federal requirement for H-1B employers.
How do I apply for Nursing Aide jobs at Prometric?
You can search for Nursing Aide openings on Prometric's careers page or use Migrate Mate to browse Prometric postings filtered by visa type. When you apply, note your work authorization status in your cover letter or application. Following up with the hiring team to confirm sponsorship availability before the interview stage saves time for both parties.
Which visa types are commonly used for Nursing Aide roles at Prometric?
Prometric has historically worked with candidates on H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN status for Nursing Aide positions. F-1 OPT is often the most accessible entry point since it allows you to start working while an H-1B petition is pending. TN status is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying healthcare occupations.
What qualifications does Prometric expect for Nursing Aide candidates?
Most Nursing Aide roles at Prometric require a current state Nursing Aide or CNA certification and some direct patient care experience. Because Prometric's testing centers administer healthcare certification exams, familiarity with clinical environments and candidate-facing support work is an asset. Confirm your state certification is active and transferable to the location where you're applying.
How do I understand the sponsorship timeline for a Nursing Aide offer at Prometric?
Once you receive an offer, the employer files a Labor Condition Application with DOL, which typically takes about seven business days to certify. For H-1B petitions, USCIS standard processing runs three to five months, with premium processing available for faster adjudication. If you're on OPT, confirm your remaining authorization window covers the expected filing and approval period before your start date.
