How to Get Visa Sponsorship in RGA Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation standards
RGA sponsors H-1B visas, which require the role to qualify as a specialty occupation. Focus on positions that demand a specific bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, auditing, or a closely related field to strengthen your application.
Understand how accounting firms structure sponsorship decisions
At firms like RGA, sponsorship decisions are often tied to business need and role criticality. Demonstrating that your technical accounting or auditing expertise fills a specific gap makes you a stronger candidate for sponsored positions.
Prepare for a longer hiring timeline when sponsorship is involved
H-1B sponsorship adds complexity to the hiring process at any accounting firm. Expect additional steps including legal review, Labor Condition Application filing, and USCIS petition preparation, factor this into your job search timeline accordingly.
Highlight credentials that matter in accounting and auditing
Certifications like CPA, CFA, or relevant international equivalents signal professional credibility to firms like RGA. These credentials can differentiate you from other candidates and make the sponsorship investment easier for the employer to justify.
Browse verified sponsoring employers before applying broadly
Not all accounting firms sponsor visas consistently. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your energy on employers like RGA who have an active track record.
Be upfront about your visa status early in conversations with RGA
Accounting firms benefit from clarity around work authorization needs from the start. Raising your H-1B sponsorship requirement early helps hiring managers at RGA loop in the right legal and HR stakeholders before the process moves too far forward.
