Frame your credentials around deal support
Slalom's corporate development function values analysts who can demonstrate exposure to transaction analysis, financial modeling, or market mapping. Before applying, organize your experience around these outputs, not just job titles, so your resume speaks directly to what their team needs.
Target Slalom's consulting-adjacent markets first
Slalom operates across technology, healthcare, and financial services verticals. Researching which markets are driving its current expansion helps you position yourself for openings where corporate development headcount is actually growing, not just where roles happen to be posted.
Clarify your visa category early in conversations
Slalom sponsors multiple visa types, including H-1B, E-3, and TN. If you're on F-1 OPT, flag your STEM extension eligibility upfront. Recruiters need time to coordinate with legal counsel, and ambiguity about your status can stall an otherwise strong offer.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by sponsorship type
Not every Corporate Development Analyst posting at Slalom will explicitly mention visa sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to surface and filter Slalom openings by the specific visa category you need, so you're applying to roles where your situation is already accounted for.
Understand how LCA certification affects your start date
Before Slalom can file your H-1B petition, the DOL must certify a Labor Condition Application. This step adds time before USCIS even begins processing. Build at least two to three weeks of LCA lead time into your expected start date when negotiating your offer.
Prepare for case transfers if you change Slalom markets
Corporate development roles at Slalom can involve placement across different regional markets. If your work location changes after your petition is approved, your employer may need to file an amended H-1B with USCIS. Confirm the process internally before accepting any reassignment.

Does Slalom sponsor H-1B visas for Corporate Development Analysts?
Yes, Slalom sponsors H-1B visas for Corporate Development Analysts. The firm has an established process for working with immigration counsel to file H-1B petitions for qualifying roles. If you're subject to the annual H-1B cap, timing matters, as USCIS typically opens registration in March for an October 1 start date. Confirm sponsorship availability with your recruiter early in the process.
How do I apply for Corporate Development Analyst jobs at Slalom?
You can apply directly through Slalom's careers page or browse open Corporate Development Analyst positions on Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm your category is supported before applying. Tailor your application to Slalom's consulting-focused practice areas, and be prepared to discuss how your background connects to M&A support, strategic research, or partnership development.
Which visa types does Slalom commonly use for Corporate Development Analyst roles?
Slalom sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Corporate Development Analyst positions, as well as Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term hires. E-3 is available exclusively to Australian citizens and is often faster to process than H-1B. TN applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. The right visa depends on your citizenship and current status.
What qualifications does Slalom expect for Corporate Development Analyst candidates?
Slalom typically looks for candidates with a background in finance, business, or economics, along with demonstrated experience in financial modeling, competitive analysis, or deal support. Exposure to consulting environments or professional services M&A is a plus. Strong communication skills matter because corporate development analysts at consulting firms frequently present findings to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Slalom offer?
Timeline varies by visa type. E-3 and TN cases can often be processed within a few weeks. H-1B petitions filed under standard processing take three to five months; USCIS premium processing reduces that to roughly 15 business days. Green Card sponsorship through PERM labor certification typically takes one to two years from initiation. Discuss timing with Slalom's HR and legal team as soon as you receive an offer.
