Frame your experience around client delivery
Slalom's Customer Service roles sit inside consulting engagements, not traditional support centers. Emphasize client relationship management, escalation handling, and cross-functional coordination in your resume to match how Slalom actually scopes these positions.
Confirm OPT authorization before your start date
If you're on F-1 OPT, your Employment Authorization Document must be valid on day one. Slalom uses E-Verify, so USCIS authorization and your start date need to align exactly. A gap of even one day creates an onboarding hold.
Target Slalom's industry verticals strategically
Slalom structures hiring around verticals like technology, retail, and healthcare. Customer Service openings in higher-volume verticals move faster. Identify which vertical your background fits and direct your application there rather than applying broadly.
Clarify visa type support during the offer stage
Slalom sponsors multiple visa categories for Customer Service, including H-1B and E-3. Before signing an offer, confirm in writing which visa type your employer intends to file and whether they cover USCIS filing fees, since this affects your cost exposure.
Browse open Customer Service roles using Migrate Mate
Slalom posts Customer Service positions across multiple markets and verticals at different times. Use Migrate Mate to filter Slalom's active openings by visa sponsorship type so you're applying to roles that match your current authorization status.
Prepare your credential documentation before interviews begin
Slalom's consulting environment means hiring managers expect clear evidence of degree relevance to the role. Gather your official transcripts, any foreign credential evaluation documents, and employment verification letters before your first interview round, not after an offer is extended.

Find Customer Service at Slalom JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Slalom sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Service?
Yes, Slalom sponsors H-1B visas for Customer Service roles. Sponsorship is typically tied to roles that meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning the position requires at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Customer Service positions within Slalom's consulting engagements often meet this threshold given the technical and client management complexity involved.
Which visa types does Slalom support for Customer Service roles?
Slalom supports several visa categories for Customer Service positions, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and F-1 OPT and CPT for students on active programs. Immigrant pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship are also available for eligible candidates in longer-term roles.
What qualifications does Slalom expect for Customer Service positions?
Slalom's Customer Service roles within consulting engagements typically require a bachelor's degree, strong client communication skills, and experience managing service delivery or escalations in a professional environment. Backgrounds in business, communications, or a relevant technical field tend to align well. Client-facing consulting experience strengthens your candidacy significantly over general support experience.
How do I apply for Customer Service jobs at Slalom?
You can search Slalom's open Customer Service positions directly through their careers page or use Migrate Mate to filter active Slalom roles by visa sponsorship type. Tailor your application to the specific vertical you're targeting, whether that's technology, healthcare, or retail, since Slalom's hiring is organized around industry practices rather than centralized customer service departments.
How do I plan my timeline if Slalom is filing an H-1B for me?
H-1B cap-subject filings open in March each year for an October 1 start date. If you're selected in the lottery, USCIS has up to six months to adjudicate. Factor in that your employer needs to file a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL before submitting the H-1B petition, which typically adds one to two weeks to the preparation timeline.
