Frame your credentials around consulting operations
Slalom's Business Operations roles sit inside a consulting delivery model, so position your resume around project coordination, resource management, or workforce planning rather than generic admin. Consulting-specific framing signals you understand how the function operates in a professional services environment.
Identify which Slalom markets are actively hiring
Slalom operates across regional markets, and Business Operations headcount is tied to local delivery demand. Check open roles by geography and prioritize markets where Slalom has active consulting practices, as sponsorship decisions are often made at the market level, not centrally.
Clarify your visa type before the offer stage
Slalom sponsors multiple visa categories including H-1B, E-3, and TN. Before your final interview round, confirm which petition type applies to your situation. E-3 holders and TN workers often move faster than H-1B cap-subject candidates, which can influence hiring timelines and offer decisions.
Time OPT applications to Slalom's hiring cycles
If you're on F-1 OPT, your 60-day unemployment limit creates real risk if onboarding is delayed. Slalom's consulting hiring tends to ramp ahead of project cycles, so target applications at least 90 days before your OPT expiration to leave room for background checks and offer processing.
Browse Business Operations roles at Slalom on Migrate Mate
Slalom posts Business Operations openings across multiple markets, and not all roles surface on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Slalom positions that are open to visa sponsorship, so you're only applying where sponsorship is confirmed from the start.
Understand how PERM affects long-term sponsorship planning
If you're targeting a Green Card through Slalom, Business Operations roles typically qualify under EB-2 or EB-3, but PERM labor certification requires Slalom to document that no qualified U.S. worker was available. Ask about this process during negotiations, not after you've accepted an offer.

Find Business Operations at Slalom JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Slalom sponsor H-1B visas for Business Operations?
Yes, Slalom sponsors H-1B visas for Business Operations roles. Because H-1B cap-subject petitions are tied to the annual lottery in April, your timing matters. If you're already in H-1B status through a previous employer, a transfer to Slalom bypasses the lottery entirely. New graduates subject to the cap should plan applications well in advance of the April registration window.
How do I apply for Business Operations jobs at Slalom?
Apply directly through Slalom's careers page or browse open Business Operations roles on Migrate Mate, which filters for positions where visa sponsorship is confirmed. Tailor your application to reflect consulting-specific operations experience, since Slalom's Business Operations function supports client delivery and workforce management rather than traditional back-office administration.
Which visa types does Slalom commonly use for Business Operations roles?
Slalom sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Business Operations positions. Australian citizens often find the E-3 pathway faster since it has no lottery and allows direct consular processing. Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations can use the TN visa, which is employer-sponsored but processed at the port of entry without a USCIS petition.
What qualifications does Slalom expect for Business Operations roles?
Slalom's Business Operations roles in a consulting environment typically require a bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field, along with experience in project support, resource planning, or workforce coordination. Familiarity with professional services delivery models, including utilization tracking or staffing workflows, strengthens your application significantly compared to candidates from non-consulting backgrounds.
How do I navigate the sponsorship timeline for a Business Operations offer at Slalom?
Once you receive an offer, Slalom's HR and legal teams initiate the petition process with USCIS. For H-1B transfers or E-3 applications, USCIS premium processing can reduce the decision window to 15 business days. Get written confirmation of sponsorship intent before resigning from a current role, and clarify whether your start date depends on petition approval or receipt notice.
