Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Business Operations Jobs at Bloomberg Jobs
Align your credentials to Bloomberg's operator profile
Bloomberg's Business Operations teams recruit for analytical rigor as much as process expertise. Quantify outcomes on your resume using metrics tied to efficiency, revenue, or scale, since Bloomberg evaluates candidates the same way it evaluates its business lines.
Search Bloomberg's open roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Bloomberg's Business Operations openings by visa type. This lets you surface roles actively seeking candidates who need sponsorship rather than sorting through postings that exclude visa applicants.
Prepare for cross-functional interview rounds early
Bloomberg's Business Operations interviews typically involve stakeholders from finance, product, and engineering. Prepare case-style answers that demonstrate how you've driven decisions across functions, not just within a single team or department.
Understand the LCA requirement before your offer stage
Before USCIS can approve an H-1B petition, your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL confirming the role meets prevailing wage standards. Confirm Bloomberg's recruiting team has initiated this step as soon as you receive an offer.
Build your immigration timeline around USCIS cap deadlines
If you need an H-1B and aren't cap-exempt, USCIS opens registration in March for an October 1 start date. Align your Bloomberg offer timeline to allow at least six to eight weeks between offer acceptance and the registration window.

Find Business Operations at Bloomberg JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Bloomberg sponsor H-1B visas for Business Operations?
Yes, Bloomberg sponsors H-1B visas for Business Operations roles. Bloomberg is an established H-1B sponsor in the technology sector with a consistent history of petitions across operational functions. If you're targeting a Business Operations position, confirm sponsorship availability directly during the recruiting process, as it can vary by role level and location.
Which visa types does Bloomberg commonly use for Business Operations roles?
Bloomberg sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, and employment-based Green Card categories including EB-2 and EB-3 for Business Operations professionals. Australian citizens should ask specifically about the E-3, which has no lottery and allows two-year renewable status. H-1B1 is available to nationals of Singapore and Chile and is also cap-exempt.
What qualifications does Bloomberg expect for Business Operations roles?
Bloomberg typically hires Business Operations professionals with backgrounds in finance, economics, data analysis, or business administration. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree field must align with the specific role to meet the specialty occupation standard USCIS requires. Relevant work experience in process optimization, cross-functional project management, or operational analytics strengthens both your application and your petition.
How do I apply for Business Operations jobs at Bloomberg?
Apply through Bloomberg's careers portal or browse current openings filtered by visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate, which lists Bloomberg's Business Operations roles alongside sponsorship details. Tailor your application to reflect quantifiable business impact since Bloomberg's Operations teams place significant weight on measurable outcomes. Follow up with Bloomberg recruiters to confirm your sponsorship needs early in the process.
How do I plan my timeline if I need Bloomberg to sponsor my H-1B?
If you require an H-1B and don't qualify for a cap-exempt category, USCIS registration opens each March for a start date of October 1. You'll need to have your offer finalized and your employer prepared to submit your registration before the window closes. From registration selection to approval typically takes four to six months without premium processing, so factor that into your start date negotiations with Bloomberg.
