What you’ll be doing:
- Lead DGX Cloud’s business operating rhythm, including planning cycles, executive reviews, decision forums, and follow-through on actions and decisions.
- Build executive-ready dashboards and reporting that provide a clear view of capacity, program delivery, business performance, spend, budget, headcount, and organizational health.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Operations, Finance, FinOps, HR, and TPM teams to define shared benchmarks, planning assumptions, data sources, and performance targets.
- Support headcount planning and hiring-plan tracking, including workforce-capacity analysis, prioritization, forecast accuracy, and leadership reporting.
- Drive high-priority cross-functional initiatives by establishing achievements, dependencies, risks, decision paths, accountable owners, and executive involvement when needed.
- Convert intricate operational, technical, financial, and workforce data into clear executive insights, suggestions, and decisions needed.
- Improve the quality and speed of business operations through automation, AI-assisted workflows, reliable source-of-truth data, and scalable planning mechanisms.
- Identify organizational bottlenecks, data-quality issues, and process gaps; drive durable improvements across planning, reporting, and execution.
What we need to see:
- More than 12 overall years in business operations, technical program management, strategy and operations, finance, analytics, or comparable technical/business roles.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience building dashboards, defining important metrics, developing planning models, and translating data into executive recommendations.
- Experience leading headcount planning, workforce-capacity analysis, hiring-plan tracking, and organizational planning in partnership with HR and functional leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional programs involving technical, operational, financial, and organizational dependencies.
- Experience establishing operating rhythms, including executive reviews, planning cycles, decision forums, performance tracking, and leadership-ready reporting.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, AI/ML platforms, large-scale services, or technical operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex data and program status into clear risks, tradeoffs, and decisions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Experience supporting business operations for AI/ML infrastructure, GPU capacity, cloud services, or large-scale technology organizations.
- Track record building data products, executive dashboards, or automated reporting systems that became trusted sources of truth.
- Experience connecting headcount, budget, capacity, and program-delivery data to improve investment and prioritization decisions.
- Experience applying AI or automation to improve planning, reporting, forecasting, or operational follow-through.
- Ability to operate as a trusted partner to senior leaders while independently driving clarity, accountability, and execution across a complex organization.

Frame your credentials around cross-functional impact
NVIDIA's Business Operations teams handle planning, analytics, and operational strategy at scale. Before applying, reframe your resume around measurable cross-functional outcomes, not just task execution, because that's the lens NVIDIA hiring managers use to evaluate ops candidates.
Target roles that map to your visa category
NVIDIA sponsors both H-1B and E-3 visas for Business Operations. If you're Australian, the E-3 has no lottery and faster timelines. Confirm the posted role lists your intended visa type in the job description before investing in a full application cycle.
Browse NVIDIA openings through Migrate Mate
Filter Business Operations roles at NVIDIA by visa type on Migrate Mate so you're only seeing positions where sponsorship is confirmed. This saves time you'd otherwise spend cold-applying to roles with unclear immigration support.
Ask about LCA filing timing during offer negotiation
Your start date depends on when NVIDIA's legal team files the Labor Condition Application with DOL. Before signing, confirm whether the LCA is already certified or still in process, it affects how quickly you can start and whether you'll need premium processing.
Prepare for a specialty occupation documentation review
USCIS scrutinizes Business Operations roles more than engineering roles because the degree-to-job connection is less obvious. Have your official transcripts, degree certificates, and a written explanation of how your specific coursework supports your business operations responsibilities ready before your employer files.
Understand NVIDIA's green card pathway before you start
NVIDIA sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 green cards, but PERM labor certification timelines vary significantly by your country of birth. Clarify whether your employer will initiate PERM in your first or second year so you can plan your H-1B extension strategy accordingly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does NVIDIA sponsor H-1B visas for Business Operations?
Yes, NVIDIA sponsors H-1B visas for Business Operations roles. Because these positions are classified as specialty occupations requiring a relevant bachelor's degree or higher, they qualify under standard H-1B criteria. NVIDIA's legal team handles the LCA filing with DOL and the I-129 petition with USCIS, though you'll need to clear the H-1B cap lottery if you're not already H-1B exempt.
How do I apply for Business Operations jobs at NVIDIA?
Apply directly through NVIDIA's careers portal and tailor your application to emphasize cross-functional project ownership, data-driven decision-making, and operational scale. Migrate Mate lists NVIDIA's open Business Operations roles filtered by visa sponsorship type, so you can confirm sponsorship availability before applying. Be prepared for a multi-round interview process that includes case-style questions and stakeholder scenario exercises.
Which visa types does NVIDIA typically use for Business Operations hires?
NVIDIA sponsors H-1B and E-3 visas for Business Operations roles, along with immigrant pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term employees. Australian citizens have a strong option in the E-3 visa, which carries no lottery and allows two-year renewable terms. H-1B remains the most common nonimmigrant path for candidates from other countries, subject to the annual cap and lottery.
What qualifications does NVIDIA look for in Business Operations candidates?
NVIDIA typically seeks candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, or a related analytical field, and often prefers those with advanced degrees or MBA credentials for senior roles. Practical experience in operational planning, business analytics, or strategy consulting carries significant weight. Familiarity with data tools, cross-functional project management, and working within a fast-moving technology environment strengthens your profile considerably.
How do I time my Business Operations job search to align with H-1B sponsorship deadlines?
The H-1B cap lottery registration opens in March each year, with employment starting October 1 at the earliest. To meet this timeline, you'll need a signed offer and a filed LCA with DOL by late March. Start your job search at NVIDIA no later than January of your target year. If you miss the cap, NVIDIA may be able to extend your OPT or explore cap-exempt options depending on your situation.
