Frame your credentials around cross-functional impact
NVIDIA's Business Operations teams handle planning, analytics, and operational strategy at scale. Before applying, reframe your resume around measurable cross-functional outcomes, not just task execution, because that's the lens NVIDIA hiring managers use to evaluate ops candidates.
Browse NVIDIA openings through Migrate Mate
Filter Business Operations roles at NVIDIA by visa type on Migrate Mate so you're only seeing positions where sponsorship is confirmed. This saves time you'd otherwise spend cold-applying to roles with unclear immigration support.
Ask about LCA filing timing during offer negotiation
Your start date depends on when NVIDIA's legal team files the Labor Condition Application with DOL. Before signing, confirm whether the LCA is already certified or still in process, it affects how quickly you can start and whether you'll need premium processing.
Prepare for a specialty occupation documentation review
USCIS scrutinizes Business Operations roles more than engineering roles because the degree-to-job connection is less obvious. Have your official transcripts, degree certificates, and a written explanation of how your specific coursework supports your business operations responsibilities ready before your employer files.
Understand NVIDIA's green card pathway before you start
NVIDIA sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 green cards, but PERM labor certification timelines vary significantly by your country of birth. Clarify whether your employer will initiate PERM in your first or second year so you can plan your H-1B extension strategy accordingly.

Find Business Operations at NVIDIA JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does NVIDIA sponsor H-1B visas for Business Operations?
Yes, NVIDIA sponsors H-1B visas for Business Operations roles. Because these positions are classified as specialty occupations requiring a relevant bachelor's degree or higher, they qualify under standard H-1B criteria. NVIDIA's legal team handles the LCA filing with DOL and the I-129 petition with USCIS, though you'll need to clear the H-1B cap lottery if you're not already H-1B exempt.
How do I apply for Business Operations jobs at NVIDIA?
Apply directly through NVIDIA's careers portal and tailor your application to emphasize cross-functional project ownership, data-driven decision-making, and operational scale. Migrate Mate lists NVIDIA's open Business Operations roles filtered by visa sponsorship type, so you can confirm sponsorship availability before applying. Be prepared for a multi-round interview process that includes case-style questions and stakeholder scenario exercises.
Which visa types does NVIDIA typically use for Business Operations hires?
NVIDIA sponsors H-1B and E-3 visas for Business Operations roles, along with immigrant pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term employees. Australian citizens have a strong option in the E-3, which carries no lottery and allows two-year renewable terms. H-1B remains the most common nonimmigrant path for candidates from other countries, subject to the annual cap and lottery.
What qualifications does NVIDIA look for in Business Operations candidates?
NVIDIA typically seeks candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, or a related analytical field, and often prefers those with advanced degrees or MBA credentials for senior roles. Practical experience in operational planning, business analytics, or strategy consulting carries significant weight. Familiarity with data tools, cross-functional project management, and working within a fast-moving technology environment strengthens your profile considerably.
How do I time my Business Operations job search to align with H-1B sponsorship deadlines?
The H-1B cap lottery registration opens in March each year, with employment starting October 1 at the earliest. To meet this timeline, you'll need a signed offer and a filed LCA with DOL by late March. Start your job search at NVIDIA no later than January of your target year. If you miss the cap, NVIDIA may be able to extend your OPT or explore cap-exempt options depending on your situation.
