Align your resume to semiconductor operations
Micron recruits Business Operations talent with direct exposure to supply chain, manufacturing yield analysis, or capacity planning in hardware or chip environments. Frame your experience around fab operations, vendor management, or production scheduling rather than generic business analysis.
Target roles that map to specialty occupation criteria
USCIS requires H-1B roles to qualify as specialty occupations. For Business Operations at Micron, positions tied to operations research, supply chain engineering, or financial planning for capital-intensive manufacturing programs carry the strongest degree-requirement justification in your LCA filing.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Micron's open roles
Micron posts Business Operations openings across multiple sites and business units. Search Migrate Mate to surface roles that explicitly indicate visa sponsorship eligibility so you're not applying blind to positions that won't move forward for international candidates.
Request the LCA before your start date
Your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before USCIS can adjudicate your H-1B petition. Confirm with Micron's HR team that the LCA process is underway early, since delays in DOL certification push back your entire filing timeline.
Prepare credentials for a company with EB pathway history
Micron sponsors both EB-2 and EB-3 green cards for operations roles. If your degree is from outside the U.S., get a credential evaluation from a NACES-recognized agency before your offer stage so the PERM application isn't delayed by documentation gaps.
Engage Micron's recruiting team at semiconductor industry events
Micron actively recruits at conferences focused on supply chain technology, semiconductor manufacturing, and operations strategy. Connecting with their talent acquisition team in person, before applying, signals domain seriousness and gives you a named contact to reference in your application.

Find Business Operations at Micron Technology JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Micron Technology sponsor H-1B visas for Business Operations roles?
Yes, Micron Technology sponsors H-1B visas for Business Operations positions. The company has a well-established sponsorship process across its operations, supply chain, and program management functions. Roles that require a specialized degree in fields like industrial engineering, operations research, or supply chain management tend to have the clearest path through H-1B eligibility requirements.
How do I apply for Business Operations jobs at Micron Technology?
Applications go through Micron's careers portal at micron.com. Search by function using terms like operations, supply chain, or program management. You can also browse Business Operations roles at Micron that offer visa sponsorship through Migrate Mate, which filters listings to surface positions relevant to international candidates. Tailor your application to reflect semiconductor or hardware manufacturing experience where possible.
Which visa types does Micron Technology commonly use for Business Operations professionals?
Micron sponsors H-1B and H-1B1 visas for nonimmigrant work authorization in Business Operations. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, the company supports EB-2 and EB-3 green card pathways, which typically require a PERM labor certification filed with DOL. The right visa category depends on your role level, degree field, and long-term work authorization goals.
What qualifications does Micron Technology expect for Business Operations candidates?
Micron typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree or higher in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business analytics, or a related technical field. Practical experience with semiconductor manufacturing environments, ERP systems, or operations planning in a hardware company strengthens your profile significantly. For senior roles, cross-functional project management experience in capital-intensive industries is a common expectation.
How do I time my H-1B application if I receive an offer from Micron Technology?
H-1B petitions for cap-subject applicants can only be filed for an October 1 start date, with the registration window typically opening in March. If you receive an offer outside that window, Micron's HR team may structure a delayed start or explore cap-exempt options. Confirm your current visa status and grace period, since USCIS allows a 60-day grace period after employment ends for many nonimmigrant categories.
