Find Sonatus JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Sonatus sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Sonatus sponsors H-1B visas and has an active track record of doing so. The company's sponsorship is concentrated in technical and engineering roles tied to its automotive software products. If you're on OPT or another status and targeting an H-1B, engaging Sonatus's recruiting team early in the year gives you the best chance of being included in the annual registration cycle.
Which visa types does Sonatus sponsor?
Sonatus sponsors H-1B visas, F-1 OPT, and TN visas. It does not have a documented track record of Green Card or E-3 sponsorship. H-1B is the primary pathway for long-term work authorization, while OPT and TN are common entry points for candidates who need faster or more straightforward sponsorship options.
Which roles or departments at Sonatus are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sonatus's sponsorship activity aligns closely with its core business in automotive software and connected vehicle technology. Software engineers, systems architects, and roles focused on embedded software or vehicle data platforms are the most common sponsored positions. Business, marketing, or operations roles are less likely to have sponsorship available, though this can vary by hiring cycle.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Sonatus?
The most reliable approach is to use Migrate Mate, which surfaces verified sponsoring employers and lets you filter roles by visa type and company. This is especially useful for Sonatus, where sponsored openings are specific to technical roles and availability shifts with the company's hiring needs. Checking regularly gives you the best chance of catching new postings as they go live.
How do I time my application to Sonatus for H-1B sponsorship?
The H-1B registration window runs in March each year, with the lottery typically completed by April. To be sponsored in that cycle, Sonatus would need to have you far enough through the hiring process to commit to a petition. Aim to begin outreach and applications by January or February, giving the company time to evaluate you before the registration deadline.
