Align your credentials to GCP standards
Syneos Health's Clinical Research roles require demonstrated Good Clinical Practice knowledge. Before applying, ensure your CV explicitly reflects GCP-compliant trial experience, protocol adherence, and any ICH E6 training, since these are the benchmarks reviewers screen against.
Distinguish therapeutic area experience in applications
Syneos Health staffs trials across oncology, neuroscience, and rare disease. Specifying the therapeutic areas where you've held CRA or CRC responsibilities signals you're deployable immediately, which matters to hiring managers filling billable client-facing positions.
Clarify sponsorship eligibility before the offer stage
Syneos Health's recruiting process can move quickly once a shortlist forms. Raise your visa status early in the process rather than at the offer stage, giving the talent acquisition team time to loop in immigration counsel before extending a formal offer.
Understand how PERM affects long-term planning
If Syneos Health pursues an EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card pathway for you, the DOL PERM labor certification process requires the employer to document a recruitment effort. That process can take 12 to 18 months before USCIS even sees the petition, so factor this into your timeline.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active openings
Clinical Research roles at Syneos Health turn over frequently as trial phases close and new protocols open. Search Migrate Mate to filter current openings by visa sponsorship type, so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is already confirmed rather than assumed.

Find Clinical Research at Syneos Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Syneos Health sponsor H-1B visas for Clinical Researchs?
Yes, Syneos Health sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Clinical Research positions. Sponsorship is typically tied to roles that meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning the position requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific scientific or related field. Clinical Research roles in trial management, monitoring, and data operations commonly satisfy this requirement. Confirm sponsorship intent directly with the recruiter before advancing through later interview rounds.
How do I apply for Clinical Research jobs at Syneos Health?
Applications go through Syneos Health's careers portal, where Clinical Research openings are listed by function and location. You can also find and filter sponsorship-confirmed roles on Migrate Mate, which surfaces active Syneos Health postings alongside their visa sponsorship history. Tailor your application to the specific trial phase and therapeutic area listed in the job description to improve your chances of clearing the initial screening.
Which visa types does Syneos Health commonly use for Clinical Research roles?
Syneos Health has a track record of filing H-1B petitions for Clinical Research professionals and supporting TN status for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying scientific roles. F-1 OPT is accepted for recent graduates, and the company has pursued EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card pathways for longer-tenured employees. The visa type used depends on your nationality, educational background, and the specific role's requirements.
What qualifications does Syneos Health expect for Clinical Research positions?
Most Clinical Research roles at Syneos Health require a bachelor's degree in a life sciences field, nursing, or a related discipline. CRA and CRC positions typically expect hands-on trial experience, GCP certification, and familiarity with electronic data capture systems. Senior roles in trial management often require therapeutic area specialization and a track record of site activation or closeout. For H-1B sponsorship purposes, the degree must relate directly to the role being offered.
How do I time my H-1B filing if I receive an offer from Syneos Health?
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed once per year, with USCIS opening registration in March for an October 1 start date. If Syneos Health extends an offer outside that window, you may need to bridge on OPT, a cap-exempt status, or a change of status from another visa category. USCIS premium processing is available and reduces adjudication to 15 business days, which Syneos Health's immigration counsel may recommend to avoid employment gaps.
