Target roles that align with Green Card sponsorship
Taher's sponsorship activity is concentrated in permanent residency pathways. Focus your applications on operational, management, or specialized food service roles where long-term employment relationships make Green Card sponsorship a practical fit for the company.
Understand which visa types Taher actually sponsors
Taher sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card categories along with F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. Knowing this upfront helps you frame your situation correctly and avoid applying if your visa type falls outside what they've historically supported.
Leverage F-1 OPT and CPT as your entry point
If you're a current F-1 student or recent graduate, Taher's willingness to hire on OPT and CPT gives you a practical way in. Use this period to demonstrate your value and open a conversation about long-term sponsorship down the road.
Research Taher's food service management contracts before applying
Taher manages dining programs for schools, universities, and corporate clients. Understanding which accounts are hiring and what operational challenges they face helps you tailor your application to roles where sponsorship is genuinely on the table.
Filter for verified sponsoring employers before you apply
Not every food service company sponsors visas. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your effort on companies like Taher that have an actual track record of supporting international candidates.
Pursue TN visa eligibility if you're Canadian or Mexican
Taher sponsors TN visas, which can be processed quickly without a lengthy USCIS petition. If you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship and work in a TN-eligible occupation, this pathway may offer a faster route into a role at Taher.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Taher sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, Taher does not have a recorded history of sponsoring H-1B visas. Their sponsorship activity has focused on Green Card categories including EB-2 and EB-3, along with F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. If H-1B visa sponsorship is essential to your situation, it's worth raising directly with their HR team during the hiring process.
What visa types does Taher sponsor?
Taher sponsors a range of visa categories: EB-2 and EB-3 for permanent residency, F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT for students and recent graduates, and TN visas for qualifying Canadian and Mexican nationals. Their Green Card sponsorship activity suggests they're open to long-term employment relationships with international candidates in the right roles.
Which roles or departments at Taher are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Taher's sponsorship history points toward operational and management roles within their food service contracts, including positions at university dining programs, K-12 accounts, and corporate dining facilities. Specialized roles in culinary management, nutrition, and operations leadership tend to be the strongest fit for candidates seeking long-term sponsorship support.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Taher?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find jobs at companies with a verified sponsorship track record like Taher. You can filter by visa type and industry to surface roles that match your eligibility, saving you from applying to food service employers that won't support your work authorization needs.
How do I approach the sponsorship conversation when applying to Taher?
Raise your visa situation early, ideally before or during the first interview. Taher's track record with Green Card sponsorship and F-1 hiring indicates their HR team is familiar with the process, but sponsorship decisions are role-specific. Come prepared with your visa timeline, any OPT end dates, and a clear explanation of what authorization you currently hold and what you'll need next.
