Frame Your Finance Credentials for Specialty Occupation
USCIS requires Partnerships Associate roles to meet the specialty occupation standard. Make sure your degree is in a directly relevant field like finance, economics, or accounting, and that your resume ties your coursework to the specific technical demands of institutional partnership work.
Target TD Securities Openings That Name Sponsorship
TD Securities posts Partnerships Associate roles across capital markets, investment banking, and securities divisions. Filter for listings that explicitly reference visa sponsorship eligibility, as not all internal business lines approach sponsorship the same way within the same firm.
Use Migrate Mate to Find Sponsored Partnerships Roles
Search Migrate Mate to surface Partnerships Associate positions at TD Securities filtered by visa type. This saves time by showing you which active openings have a sponsorship track record, so you can prioritize applications where your visa situation is already accounted for.
Understand the E-3 Advantage If You Are Australian
Australian candidates can pursue the E-3 visa outside the H-1B lottery, with no annual cap and a much faster timeline. TD Securities has sponsored E-3 visas for finance roles, making this pathway worth pursuing if you qualify rather than waiting on H-1B lottery results.
Align Your Offer Timing With H-1B Cap Deadlines
H-1B cap registrations open in March for an October 1 start date. If you are targeting a Partnerships Associate offer at TD Securities, aim to have an offer confirmed well before February so your employer can prepare the registration before the USCIS window closes.
Prepare for PERM Labor Market Testing Early
If your long-term goal is an employment-based Green Card through EB-2 or EB-3, understand that TD Securities will need to complete DOL PERM labor certification before sponsoring your immigrant petition. This process typically begins only after you have established yourself in the role, so plan your timeline accordingly.

Find Partnerships Associate at TD Securities JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does TD Securities sponsor H-1B visas for Partnerships Associates?
Yes, TD Securities sponsors H-1B visas for Partnerships Associate roles. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards given its requirement for specialized knowledge in capital markets or financial analysis. Sponsorship is subject to the annual H-1B cap and lottery, so timing your offer before the March registration window is important if you need this pathway.
Which visa types does TD Securities commonly use for Partnerships Associates?
TD Securities sponsors H-1B and E-3 visas for Partnerships Associates at the nonimmigrant level, along with EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card categories for longer-term sponsorship. Australian citizens have a clear advantage through the E-3, which carries no lottery and a faster consular processing timeline than H-1B. The right visa depends on your nationality, degree field, and career stage.
What qualifications or experience does TD Securities expect for Partnerships Associate roles?
TD Securities typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree or higher in finance, economics, business, or a related quantitative field for Partnerships Associate positions. Relevant experience in institutional sales, investment banking, capital markets, or financial product structuring strengthens your profile. Familiarity with securities regulations, client relationship management in an institutional context, and financial modeling is commonly expected.
How do I apply for Partnerships Associate jobs at TD Securities?
You can find and apply for Partnerships Associate roles at TD Securities through Migrate Mate, which surfaces open positions filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility so you know upfront whether your visa type is supported. TD Securities recruits for this function across its institutional, corporate, and investment banking divisions, so checking for openings across multiple business lines improves your chances of finding a match.
How do I time my application to account for visa sponsorship processing at TD Securities?
If you need H-1B sponsorship, align your offer timeline so TD Securities can register you during the USCIS cap registration window each March for an October 1 start. E-3 applicants have more flexibility since there is no cap or lottery, and consular processing typically takes two to six weeks. For Green Card sponsorship through PERM, expect the process to start after you have been in role for some time, as DOL labor market testing and EB-2 or EB-3 filings follow a multi-year timeline.
