Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation standards
Trew sponsors H-1B visas, which require a direct connection between your degree and the job. Focus on software engineering, product, or technical roles where your academic background clearly maps to the position's core responsibilities.
Research Trew's core technology stack before applying
Understanding the specific technologies and platforms Trew works with gives you a sharper edge in interviews. Tailor your resume and cover letter to reflect hands-on experience with tools most relevant to their software or infrastructure work.
Apply well before H-1B cap season closes
H-1B petitions are subject to an annual lottery with a hard April deadline for cap-subject filings. Targeting Trew early in the calendar year gives the company sufficient lead time to prepare and file your petition before the window closes.
Be upfront about your sponsorship needs during the application process
Trew has a track record of sponsoring international candidates. Mentioning your visa status early filters out mismatched opportunities and signals you understand the process, which experienced sponsors often find reassuring rather than off-putting.
Look for open roles that match active hiring patterns in tech
Technology and software companies typically sponsor visas for specialized technical positions. Browse Trew's openings on Migrate Mate, which surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and avoid guessing who actually files.
Prepare for a technical interview process typical of software companies
Companies in the Technology and Software space generally run structured, multi-stage technical assessments. Strengthening your coding fundamentals, system design knowledge, and problem-solving approach will help you stand out among a competitive applicant pool.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Trew sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Trew sponsors H-1B visas for international candidates in qualifying specialty occupation roles. The H-1B requires a direct relationship between the applicant's degree and the position, so roles in software development, engineering, and related technical disciplines are the most common fit. Trew has demonstrated consistent participation in the H-1B process across recent filing cycles.
What types of roles at Trew are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Trew's sponsorship activity sits within the Technology and Software industry, so technical roles, including software engineers, developers, and specialized product or infrastructure positions, are the most common candidates for H-1B sponsorship. Roles requiring a specific degree in a relevant field are the strongest fit for the specialty occupation standard the H-1B demands.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Trew?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to browse Trew's current openings with confirmed sponsorship history. Unlike generic job boards, Migrate Mate surfaces companies based on verified visa filing data, so you can filter specifically for H-1B sponsors in the Technology and Software space and see roles where sponsorship is genuinely on the table.
What is the typical timeline for H-1B sponsorship at a company like Trew?
The H-1B process generally begins with your employer filing a registration in early March, followed by the lottery in late March. If selected, the full petition is filed by April 1 for an October 1 start date. From offer acceptance to work authorization, plan for roughly six to eight months. Starting conversations with Trew well before March gives both sides adequate preparation time.
How do I strengthen my application when targeting Trew for sponsorship?
Lead with technical depth and a clear connection between your degree and the role you're applying for, since both matter directly for H-1B eligibility. Be transparent about your visa status early in the process. Trew operates in a competitive technology environment, so demonstrating specific, relevant skills rather than broad experience tends to resonate more with hiring teams evaluating sponsored candidates.
