Target roles that align with EB-2 and EB-3 pathways
Valsource's sponsorship history centers on Green Card categories, particularly EB-2 and EB-3. Focus your applications on consulting and professional services roles where employer-sponsored permanent residency is a realistic part of the employment conversation.
Understand the PERM labor certification process before you apply
Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 requires PERM labor certification, which can take a year or more before a petition is filed. Going in with realistic timeline expectations shows maturity and makes sponsorship conversations with Valsource go more smoothly.
Highlight specialty occupation credentials prominently
Consulting firms sponsoring EB-2 and EB-3 visas look for candidates whose degrees and experience directly support the role being sponsored. Make sure your resume clearly connects your academic background to the specific consulting function you're applying for.
Ask about sponsorship eligibility during the offer stage, not after
Valsource's sponsorship decisions are tied to specific roles and business needs. Raise Green Card or visa sponsorship questions during the offer negotiation stage so both sides can align on expectations before you accept and before internal processes begin.
Check whether your visa type is already supported
Valsource has sponsored F-1 OPT and TN visa holders in addition to Green Card categories. If you're currently on OPT or a TN, confirm with the recruiter whether your status fits their current hiring and sponsorship framework before investing heavily in the process.
Browse verified sponsoring employers before you apply
Not every consulting firm actively sponsors visas, which makes it worth filtering early. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and prioritize companies like Valsource that have a documented track record of supporting international candidates.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Valsource sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, Valsource has not recently filed H-1B visa petitions. Their sponsorship activity has focused on Green Card categories, specifically EB-2 and EB-3, along with F-1 OPT and TN visa types. If H-1B visa sponsorship is a requirement for your situation, confirm directly with their recruiting team, as sponsorship decisions can shift with hiring needs.
What visa types does Valsource sponsor?
Valsource's sponsorship history includes EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card categories, F-1 OPT work authorization, and TN visas for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals. Their focus on permanent residency pathways makes them a potentially strong fit for international professionals in consulting roles who are looking for long-term U.S. work authorization rather than a temporary visa.
How do I find open roles at Valsource that offer visa sponsorship?
The most reliable way is to use Migrate Mate, which aggregates job listings from verified sponsoring employers and lets you filter by visa type and company. Searching directly for Valsource on Migrate Mate will surface roles where sponsorship is a documented part of the employer's hiring history, saving you time compared to reviewing postings without sponsorship context.
How do I know if a specific Valsource role will include Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship is typically tied to the role, the business need, and your qualifications rather than being a blanket company policy. Ask the recruiter early in the process whether the specific position includes PERM labor certification support. Roles in core consulting functions at Valsource are more likely to be eligible, but confirmation from the hiring team is essential before you proceed.
How do I improve my chances of getting sponsored at a consulting firm like Valsource?
Consulting firms sponsoring EB-2 and EB-3 visas prioritize candidates whose degrees directly relate to the role being sponsored, since PERM labor certification requires that connection to hold up under Department of Labor review. Having a clear degree-to-role match, relevant work experience, and a willingness to engage in a multi-year sponsorship timeline makes you a stronger candidate at firms like Valsource.
