Align your credentials with LNG certifications
Operations roles at LNG export facilities often require process safety or hazardous materials certifications. Confirming your credentials map to U.S. industry standards, like PSM or OSHA process safety requirements, strengthens your petition before your employer files the H-1B or E-3.
Target Venture Global's construction and commissioning pipeline
Venture Global expands operations as new LNG trains come online. Targeting roles tied to facility commissioning or startup phases often yields more openings than waiting for steady-state positions, giving you better odds of landing an offer that triggers sponsorship.
Browse open Operations roles on Migrate Mate
Venture Global's Operations openings are tracked on Migrate Mate, filtered specifically for visa-sponsoring employers in energy. Use it to identify active roles before they close and see which positions have a sponsorship history for H-1B and E-3 applicants.
Understand the E-3 timeline relative to start dates
If you're Australian, the E-3 visa can be processed at a U.S. consulate in as little as a few weeks. This makes it practical to accept an offer and start within a realistic timeframe, which matters when Venture Global is filling operational roles tied to plant schedules.
Confirm the LCA covers your work location
Venture Global operates across multiple Gulf Coast sites including Louisiana terminals. DOL requires the Labor Condition Application to name your worksite location, so confirm with HR that the LCA filed for your role reflects where you'll actually be based, not just the corporate headquarters.
Prepare for a technical interview tied to specific unit operations
Venture Global's Operations hiring typically involves scenario-based technical questions on liquefaction processes, rotating equipment, or control systems. Preparing with documentation of your hands-on experience in specific unit operations makes it easier for your employer to build a strong specialty occupation case.

Find Operations at Venture Global LNG JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Venture Global LNG sponsor H-1B visas for Operations roles?
Yes, Venture Global LNG sponsors H-1B visas for Operations positions. Sponsorship is tied to roles that qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS criteria, meaning the position requires at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related technical field. Operations roles at LNG facilities, particularly those involving process engineering, controls, or safety systems, commonly meet this standard.
Which visa types does Venture Global LNG use for Operations hires?
Venture Global LNG sponsors both H-1B and E-3 visas for Operations roles. The H-1B is available to workers of any nationality and requires USCIS approval, including the annual lottery for most applicants. The E-3 is exclusively for Australian citizens, offers a faster consular processing path, and has no lottery, making it a practical option if you hold Australian citizenship and qualify for an Operations position.
How do I apply for Operations jobs at Venture Global LNG?
Applications go through Venture Global LNG's careers portal, where Operations roles are listed by facility and function. You can also find verified sponsorship-eligible openings on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for employers with an H-1B and E-3 sponsorship track record. Tailoring your application to highlight relevant LNG, petrochemical, or process operations experience improves your chances of advancing to an interview.
What qualifications does Venture Global LNG expect for Operations candidates?
Venture Global typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline, combined with hands-on experience in process operations, LNG, or refining environments. Familiarity with distributed control systems, process safety management, and rotating equipment maintenance is frequently required. International experience in large-scale gas or liquefaction plants is a strong differentiator.
How do I handle the timing between a job offer and my visa start date?
For H-1B transfers or new cap-exempt filings, USCIS processing can take several months unless your employer requests premium processing, which shortens the adjudication window to around 15 business days. For E-3 applicants, consular appointments in Australia often move faster, sometimes within a few weeks of receiving your documentation. Discuss start date flexibility with Venture Global HR early so your visa timeline aligns with operational staffing needs.
