Job Summary
Xavier University of Louisiana is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Director of Transfer and International Admissions. The Assistant Director of Transfer and International Admissions is responsible for managing the recruitment, admission, and enrollment processes for transfer and international students at Xavier University of Louisiana (XULA). This role ensures that the university attracts, admits, and enrolls high-quality students through data-driven strategies, collaborative partnerships, and exceptional customer service. The Assistant Director provides leadership in outreach, application review, and the development of policies and programs that enhance the transition and success of transfer and international students. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education Administration, International Studies, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in college admissions, recruitment, or enrollment management.
Experience working with transfer and/or international student populations.
Knowledge of transfer credit evaluation, articulation agreements, and international admissions practices.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Conduct virtual and in-person information sessions for prospective transfer and international students and their families.
Coordinate with Marketing and Communications to develop outreach materials and digital campaigns targeting these populations.
Identify and cultivate new international recruitment markets and partnerships to diversify enrollment pipelines.
Admissions Operations and Application Management
Manage the end-to-end admissions process for transfer and international students, ensuring timely and accurate review of applications.

Review international academic credentials and ensure compliance with foreign transcript evaluation services such as WES or ECE.
Make admissions recommendations in accordance with university policy and exercise independent judgment in complex cases.
