Align your credentials to U.S. banking standards
CPA, CFA, or FRM designations carry real weight at U.S. bank holding companies like Zions. If your credentials were earned abroad, get them evaluated by a NACES-approved agency before applying so hiring managers can assess equivalency without guesswork.
Target roles in financial analysis and risk
Zions hires Finance professionals across credit risk, financial reporting, and treasury functions. Focus your applications on roles where your specialization is explicit in the job title, since specialty occupation classification matters directly for H-1B petition approval.
Understand how bank holding companies file LCAs
Zions operates across multiple states, and your Labor Condition Application must reflect the actual work location. Confirm the specific office or worksite with your recruiter early, because the DOL prevailing wage determination ties to geography, not headquarters.
Use Migrate Mate to identify open Finance roles at Zions
Searching broadly across job boards makes it hard to filter for confirmed sponsors. Use Migrate Mate to browse Finance openings at Zions Bancorporation that are verified for visa sponsorship, so you're applying where your immigration situation is already accounted for.

Find Finance at Zions Bancorporation JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Zions Bancorporation sponsor H-1B visas for Finance roles?
Yes. Zions Bancorporation has a documented track record of sponsoring H-1B visas for Finance professionals. Finance roles in areas like financial analysis, credit risk, and treasury reporting typically qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS standards, which is the threshold required for H-1B approval. Confirming sponsorship intent early in the interview process is the most practical step.
How do I apply for Finance jobs at Zions Bancorporation?
You can apply directly through Zions Bancorporation's careers portal or find verified Finance openings through Migrate Mate, which filters for roles where visa sponsorship is confirmed. Tailor your application to the specific Finance function, whether that's financial reporting, risk analysis, or corporate finance, and make clear in your materials that you'll need sponsorship.
Which visa types does Zions Bancorporation commonly sponsor for Finance roles?
Zions sponsors both nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories for Finance positions. The H-1B is the most common path for initial work authorization. For longer-term permanent residency, Zions has used EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card sponsorship, which involves PERM labor certification through DOL before USCIS petition filing.
What qualifications does Zions Bancorporation expect for Finance roles?
Finance roles at Zions typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, or a closely related field. For H-1B purposes, the degree must be specific to the role, so a general business degree may not be sufficient. Professional designations like CPA or CFA strengthen both your application and the specialty occupation case your employer builds with USCIS.
How do I time my application around the H-1B cap and Zions' hiring cycle?
H-1B cap-subject petitions are filed in April for an October 1 start date. If you're on OPT, aligning your application timeline so an offer is in place before the April registration window is critical. Zions operates on a structured hiring cycle for Finance roles, so targeting fall recruiting and internship conversion paths can help you secure an offer well before the filing deadline.
