What you’ll do
We’re hiring a seasoned finance leader to run Central GTM Finance & Strategy on the GTM F&S team. You will lead global planning, consolidation, metrics & analytics, and strategic initiatives that scale GTM finance operations. This role partners closely with Global Sales leadership to guide go-to-market strategy, improve forecasting accuracy, optimize investments, and accelerate enterprise growth as Stripe expands internationally.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of eight finance professionals supporting Global Sales; deliver insights across user-level performance, sales productivity, pipeline conversion, quota attainment, and strategic account planning to support recurring business reporting cadences.
- Provide finance leadership for global sales support functions including Solution Architecture, Customer Success, Renewals, and GTM Operations.
- Own global forecasting, planning, and budgeting for Sales; surface actionable insights that inform investment decisions and drive sales efficiency.
- Define and maintain key business metrics and KPIs to monitor health and proactively flag risks and opportunities.
- Use data-driven analysis to diagnose performance, recommend actions to accelerate revenue growth and margins, and optimize investments.
- Partner with Sales, Sales Operations & Strategy, and Marketing to evaluate ROI of GTM initiatives and customer acquisition strategies.
- Build dynamic financial and operating models to assess new sales motions, pricing changes, large enterprise deals, and regional expansion scenarios.
- Work with leadership to create long-range planning models that align team strategy with GTM and company priorities.
- Design, scale, and implement reporting and dashboards that track funnel metrics and primary investment drivers.
- Independently run complex SQL queries and perform hands-on analysis of raw data to validate models, uncover root causes, and produce actionable insights.
- Leverage AI and generative tools to speed analysis, automate repetitive tasks, surface insights, and synthesize recommendations.
- Drive process automation and data streamlining to improve reporting accuracy and decision velocity.
- Contribute to quarterly business reviews and long-range planning with scenario analysis and strategic recommendations.
- Translate complex financial and sales data into clear, concise narratives for executive audiences.
Who you are
You’re an analytical, execution-oriented finance leader with strong business acumen and a passion for GTM strategy. You thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and balance strategic thinking with hands-on work. If you want to help Stripe scale its enterprise footprint and drive decisions through data, we want to hear from you.
Minimum requirements
- 10+ years in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or GTM Finance supporting enterprise sales teams.
- Proven ability to analyze pipeline health, forecast revenue, and model user and sales dynamics in complex B2B settings.
- Track record of partnering with senior GTM leaders and influencing decisions through financial insight.
- Strong financial modeling experience and familiarity with large, multi-variable planning tools.
- Proficiency in SQL to independently query and manipulate complex datasets.
- Minimum 3 years of people management experience with success leading high-performing finance teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to distill complex concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; able to balance strategy with tactical execution.

In-office expectations
Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico and Bengaluru, India work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.
Pay and benefits
The annual US base salary range for this role is $216,800 - $325,200. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.

Align your credentials to Stripe's Finance stack
Stripe's Finance roles lean heavily on SQL, financial modeling, and systems like Workday or NetSuite. Framing your resume around these tools, not just accounting credentials, signals you're ready for a technology-forward finance environment.
Time your OPT application with Stripe's hiring cycles
Stripe tends to hire Finance roles on a rolling basis, not just in spring. If you're on F-1 OPT, apply for your EAD through USCIS at least 90 days before your program end date so authorization gaps don't disqualify you mid-process.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Finance openings at Stripe by visa type
Searching Stripe's full job board for visa-friendly Finance roles takes time and yields mixed results. Migrate Mate lets you filter directly by visa category so you see only the Finance positions Stripe is actively sponsoring.

Find Finance at Stripe JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Stripe sponsor H-1B visas for Finance roles?
Yes, Stripe sponsors H-1B visas for Finance roles. Stripe is an active H-1B employer with a consistent pattern of filings across financial planning, accounting, and tax functions. Because H-1B requires a specialty occupation with a direct nexus between your degree field and the Finance role, roles requiring a specific background in accounting, finance, or economics are the strongest fit.
How do I apply for Finance jobs at Stripe?
Finance roles at Stripe are posted on their careers site and typically require applying through their applicant tracking system. You can also browse Stripe's open Finance positions filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate, which surfaces only roles where sponsorship is actively offered. Tailoring your application to highlight both technical finance skills and familiarity with high-growth technology environments improves your fit signal.
Which visa types does Stripe sponsor for Finance positions?
Stripe sponsors a broad range of visa types for Finance roles, including H-1B, H-1B1 for Chilean and Singaporean nationals, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican professionals in qualifying finance occupations, and F-1 OPT and CPT for students completing degrees. For longer-term pathways, Stripe also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for eligible Finance employees.
What qualifications does Stripe expect for Finance roles?
Stripe's Finance roles generally expect a bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics, or a related quantitative field. Beyond credentials, Stripe places strong weight on analytical proficiency, experience with financial systems, and the ability to operate in a fast-scaling environment. CPA or CFA credentials strengthen applications for accounting and investment-adjacent roles, though they're not universally required.
How do I plan my timeline when pursuing a sponsored Finance role at Stripe?
Timeline depends heavily on your visa category. H-1B cap-subject petitions have an April 1 filing window with an October 1 start date, so you need an offer in hand before March. E-3 and TN visas can be processed at a consulate or port of entry with shorter lead times. F-1 OPT candidates should confirm their EAD timeline with USCIS and flag any gap risk to Stripe's recruiting team early in the process.
