Tailor your resume to ZS's analytical focus
Program Associates at ZS are expected to work with data modeling, client deliverables, and structured problem-solving from day one. Highlight coursework or projects in statistics, operations research, or business analytics to align with what ZS screens for at the resume stage.
Apply through on-campus recruiting if eligible
ZS runs structured campus recruiting cycles targeting graduate programs in business analytics, engineering, and applied math. Recruiting through this channel puts you in the pipeline where sponsorship is already budgeted and expected, rather than negotiating it as an exception later.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Program Associate roles
ZS posts Program Associate openings across multiple U.S. offices at different times of year. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for ZS Associates roles that are open to visa sponsorship, so you're not manually sifting through listings that don't apply to your situation.
Understand how OPT timing affects your H-1B window
If you're on F-1 OPT, your start date at ZS needs to align with H-1B cap filing in April for an October 1 start. A STEM OPT extension gives you a 24-month buffer, but plan your offer timeline with USCIS's April registration window in mind from the outset.
Ask about the LCA process during offer negotiation
Before ZS can file your H-1B petition, the company must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL certifying your offered wage meets prevailing wage requirements. Asking about this step signals preparation and helps you anticipate the weeks-long DOL processing window before USCIS filing can begin.

Find Program Associate at ZS Associates JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does ZS Associates sponsor H-1B visas for Program Associates?
Yes, ZS Associates sponsors H-1B visas for Program Associates. The company has a consistent pattern of supporting international hires in this role, including both the initial H-1B cap filing and subsequent extensions. Because ZS recruits heavily from graduate programs with large international student populations, sponsorship for this function is standard practice rather than a case-by-case negotiation.
Which visa types does ZS Associates commonly use for Program Associates?
ZS Associates supports H-1B, H-1B1, TN, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT for Program Associate roles. F-1 OPT and CPT are common for new graduates already in the U.S., while H-1B is the primary long-term work authorization path. Australian and Chilean nationals may qualify for H-1B1, and Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations may use the TN category.
What qualifications are expected for Program Associate roles at ZS Associates?
ZS typically looks for a bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, or business analytics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are central to the role. Consulting internship experience helps but is not required. ZS recruits directly from graduate programs and evaluates candidates on case-style interviews alongside technical assessments.
How do I apply for Program Associate jobs at ZS Associates?
You can apply directly through ZS's careers portal or through on-campus recruiting at target universities. ZS runs structured hiring cycles tied to academic calendars, so applications submitted during the fall and spring recruiting windows tend to move faster. To find currently open Program Associate roles at ZS that include visa sponsorship, browse listings on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for sponsoring employers.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship at ZS Associates?
H-1B cap registrations open in March each year for an October 1 start date. If you're finishing a degree in May, you'll need F-1 OPT to bridge the gap until October. STEM OPT extends that window by 24 months if your degree qualifies. Coordinate your offer acceptance date with ZS's HR team early so the Labor Condition Application is filed with DOL well before the USCIS registration window opens.
