Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Project Analyst Jobs at ZS Associates Jobs
Frame your degree around ZS's analytical requirements
ZS recruits Project Analysts primarily from quantitative disciplines like statistics, engineering, computer science, and economics. Make sure your transcripts and resume emphasize coursework directly tied to data modeling or operations research, since those align with the specialty occupation standard USCIS applies to H-1B petitions.
Target ZS's campus recruiting cycle early
ZS fills most Project Analyst seats through structured campus recruiting in the fall. If you're finishing OPT or need CPT authorization, confirm your program's OPT start date before interviews begin so ZS's recruiting team can plan around your work authorization window.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Project Analyst roles at ZS
ZS posts Project Analyst openings across multiple offices with varying sponsorship terms. Search Migrate Mate to filter specifically for ZS Associates roles that support your visa type, so you're applying to positions already confirmed for sponsorship rather than guessing at eligibility.
Clarify which visa pathway ZS will file for your situation
ZS sponsors multiple visa categories, and your pathway depends on your nationality and current status. Australians may qualify for the H-1B1 and Canadians for TN, both of which skip the H-1B lottery. Ask the recruiter explicitly which filing type applies to you before accepting an offer.
Understand the H-1B cap timeline relative to your OPT end date
USCIS only accepts H-1B cap petitions in April for an October 1 start. If your OPT expires before October 1 and you're not selected in the lottery, you'll need a cap-gap extension. Confirm with ZS's HR team whether they'll support a cap-gap filing to bridge the gap.
Confirm ZS's PERM timeline before accepting a long-term offer
If your goal is a Green Card through the EB-2 or EB-3 route, ask during the offer stage how early ZS typically initiates PERM. DOL's labor certification process can take a year or more before USCIS even sees the I-140, so understanding ZS's internal timeline helps you plan your long-term status.

Find Project Analyst at ZS Associates JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does ZS Associates sponsor H-1B visas for Project Analysts?
Yes, ZS Associates sponsors H-1B visas for Project Analysts. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards given its quantitative and analytical requirements. ZS has a well-established sponsorship process for this function and works with candidates to file cap-subject H-1B petitions through the annual April lottery for an October 1 start date.
How do I apply for Project Analyst jobs at ZS Associates?
Apply through ZS Associates' careers portal or through campus recruiting if you're a current student. Most Project Analyst hiring follows a structured fall recruitment cycle tied to university programs. You can also browse verified sponsorship-confirmed openings on Migrate Mate, which filters ZS's active Project Analyst postings by visa type so you see roles that match your authorization needs.
Which visa types does ZS Associates commonly use for Project Analyst roles?
ZS Associates sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Project Analysts. H-1B is the most common route for long-term sponsorship. Australian nationals may use the H-1B1, and Canadian nationals may qualify for TN status, both of which avoid the H-1B lottery entirely.
What qualifications does ZS Associates look for in Project Analyst candidates who need visa sponsorship?
ZS targets candidates with bachelor's or master's degrees in quantitative fields such as statistics, engineering, computer science, economics, or operations research. Strong analytical skills, proficiency with data tools, and demonstrated problem-solving in a consulting or case-study context are prioritized. For H-1B sponsorship, your degree field must directly relate to the Project Analyst role to satisfy the USCIS specialty occupation requirement.
How do I time my application if my OPT is running out and I need ZS to sponsor an H-1B?
If your OPT expires before October 1, a cap-gap extension under federal regulations protects your status through September 30 as long as your H-1B petition is filed before OPT ends. Start conversations with ZS's recruiting team early in the fall recruiting cycle so they can confirm the filing timeline. USCIS requires H-1B cap petitions to be submitted in April, so offers typically need to be in place by March.
