Mid Level Corporate Paralegal Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level corporate paralegal job?
Position your experience around ownership, not just task completion. Highlight deals or projects you managed from start to finish, any junior colleagues you guided, and substantive work in areas like M&A, securities, entity governance, or commercial contracts. Applications that show you can reduce attorney oversight, not just support it, stand out at this level. Tailor your resume to the practice area each employer emphasizes.
Which companies hire mid level corporate paralegals?
Companies hiring mid level corporate paralegals right now include Joby Aviation, Fenwick & West, and Apple, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a broad mix of in-house legal departments at large corporations, regional law firms, and financial institutions that need paralegals who can run transactions independently.
Are there remote mid level corporate paralegal jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and practice area. About 36% of mid level corporate paralegal openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how much of corporate legal work can be done outside a physical office. Roles tied to securities filings, entity management, and contract administration tend to offer the most flexibility.
How do I move up to a mid level corporate paralegal role?
Growth from entry level into mid level comes from deepening your expertise in a specific practice area, such as M&A, capital markets, or commercial transactions, while taking on progressively more ownership. Building a record of managing closing checklists, running due diligence independently, and mentoring newer staff signals readiness for mid level expectations. Pursuing a paralegal certificate or CLE courses in your specialty accelerates that progression.
