CoxHealth is proud to be a Level I Stroke and Trauma Center, and our 800 Neuro-Ortho unit plays a vital role in delivering exceptional care to these patients. As a 26-bed unit, we specialize in treating a wide range of complex conditions, including stroke, trauma, and neurosurgical cases. Our patient population is diverse, ranging in age from 18 to 102, offering a broad spectrum of clinical experiences. The 800 unit is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where each day presents new challenges and rewarding opportunities. Nurse Assistant Training Program
Job Summary Functions within a classroom and clinical learning environment to obtain training as unlicensed assistive personnel. While in the clinical learning environment, will provide basic patient care under direction and supervision of clinical educator and nursing staff. During clinical rotation, may perform duties such as taking vitals, bathing, dressing, moving patients, changing linens and other duties within their scope of practice as directed. While in clinical setting, obtains information on patient condition as requested by the nursing staff or clinical educator and reports any changes in patient condition. At the end of the training, a competency assessment will be administered to validate learning.

Must have Missouri CNA License OR
* Must have MO CNA Appendix AND MO CNA license must be obtained within 120 days of hire

Never start a new rotation on an outdated I-20.
What happens to my CPT authorization if my clinical site loses its accreditation or CRNA staffing mid-rotation?
Your CPT authorization is tied to the site and supervision structure your DSO approved. If the site loses qualified CRNA supervision, your rotation may no longer meet the integral-curriculum standard, which could put your authorization at risk. Notify your DSO immediately and work with your program director to transfer to a compliant site before your I-20 end date lapses.
