Job Title: Product Manager Intern
Location: On-site 4 days in Hoboken NJ
Duration: 8 weeks
Department: Actimize AML Product Management
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and curious Product Management Intern to join our team for Summer 2026. This is an opportunity to work on real, high-impact product initiatives within our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) software portfolio, collaborate with Senior Product Managers, Data Scientists, Product Owners, and cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, sales, and marketing, and contribute to a product roadmap that shapes financial crime compliance for some of the world's largest financial institutions — while gaining exposure to AI-driven product strategy, regulatory technology, agile product development, and enterprise SaaS product operations.
You will be embedded directly within the AML Product Management team, working on a defined project that delivers a tangible, presentable output by the end of your internship. Depending on your strengths and interests assessed during onboarding, your project will be scoped to match your capabilities — ranging from structured research and analysis to competitive intelligence and internal tooling strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting market and competitive research across AML technology vendors, emerging digital asset solutions, or AI-driven product capabilities to inform strategic roadmap decisions
- Synthesizing findings from customer interviews, internal stakeholder discussions, and publicly available regulatory guidance into structured product briefs and recommendations
- Auditing existing internal resources — such as product collateral libraries, backlog trackers, and compliance artifact repositories — to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities
- Designing and populating structured tracking frameworks (e.g., account health trackers, backlog prioritization matrices, or AI project registries) that improve team visibility and operational efficiency
- Mapping product capabilities and initiatives to strategic business goals, helping the team maintain alignment between roadmap investments and measurable customer outcomes
- Preparing clear, concise documentation including gap analyses, competitive landscape summaries, and go-to-market messaging drafts for review by senior product leadership
- Collaborating with Product Managers, Product Owners, and cross-functional partners to support sprint planning, PI briefing preparation, and backlog grooming activities
- Presenting a final internship project deliverable to the AML Product leadership team, demonstrating research findings, recommendations, and a proposed path forward
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with product management concepts, including roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, and agile/scrum methodologies
- Exposure to enterprise software, SaaS platforms, or financial technology through coursework, personal projects, or prior internship experience
- Interest in Artificial Intelligence, machine learning applications, or AI governance frameworks and how they are applied within regulated industries
- Experience with data organization, research synthesis, or structured analysis, such as building trackers, writing reports, or conducting competitive benchmarking
What We’re Looking For
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Interest in leveraging new technologies (including AI tools) to build better systems
Eligibility Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data organization, analysis, and presentation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, and SharePoint
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other team members
- Excellent communication skills, ability to engage with all levels within the organization
- Must be able to commute to office location 4 days per week

Get Access To All JobsManager, Product Management CPT: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Manager, Product Management role qualify for CPT authorization?
Yes, if your program includes courses in product management, business strategy, or technology management and your DSO can draw a direct curricular connection. The role must be integral to your degree, not incidental. Bring a detailed job description and a course-mapping memo to your DSO appointment to support the authorization request.
Can I work full-time as a Manager, Product Management on CPT?
You can, but full-time CPT carries a significant consequence: 12 or more months of full-time CPT eliminates your post-completion OPT eligibility entirely. Many F-1 students in product management pursue part-time CPT during the semester and shift to full-time only in summer to preserve their OPT. Confirm the timing with your DSO before accepting a full-time offer.
What documentation does my employer need to authorize CPT for this role?
Your employer needs to provide a formal offer letter on company letterhead that specifies your job title, start and end dates, hours per week, and the work location or remote arrangement. For a managerial product role, the letter should also describe your direct reports and decision-making scope. Some schools additionally require a training plan or supervisor agreement before the DSO issues the CPT endorsement on your I-20.
How do I find Manager, Product Management employers who are open to CPT students?
Many companies hiring for product management leadership have prior experience sponsoring international students but don't always advertise it. Migrate Mate filters job listings by employers with verified work authorization filing history, so you can identify companies already familiar with F-1 work authorization rather than spending time educating recruiters from scratch.
Does CPT as a product manager count toward H-1B specialty occupation evidence?
It can. USCIS evaluates specialty occupation based on whether the role normally requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field. CPT work as a Manager, Product Management, supported by an employer letter and performance documentation, can strengthen the specialty occupation argument in a future H-1B visa petition, particularly when the degree field aligns directly with the product domain.
