Key Responsibilities
- Support specific project and program objectives as defined in the areas of responsibility, and that necessary preliminary activities (e.g., determination of outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource planning, among others) are completed.
- Support projects and programs assigned are completed in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to product/process specifications, project/program costs, resource utilization, and timeliness for completion.
- Ensures that all phases of project, program and/or process development are documented and that information required in other functional areas is reported, disseminated, or transferred, as appropriate. Ensures compliance with Company policies regarding Engineering/Lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality and safety.
- Undertake study of new technologies, as appropriate.
- Support data collection for materials & financial resources.
Spring co-op dates: January 11, 2027 - July 2, 2027 on-site at our Billerica, MA location
Other Requirements:
- This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools.

- $31 - $41 per hour

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.

Yes, if your degree program includes coursework in project planning, operations management, systems engineering, or a related discipline. Can I do CPT as a Project Manager if my degree is in computer science or engineering?
Yes. Technical Project Manager and IT Project Manager positions are a common CPT match for computer science and engineering students because the role requires applying domain knowledge to software delivery or systems implementation. Your DSO will look for that technical overlap in the job description, not just the PM title, so make sure the posting reflects the technical scope of the work.

CPT is authorized for a specific employer and job description. If your role changes substantially, such as moving from a technical PM position to a purely commercial account management role, the new duties may no longer satisfy the academic requirement that justified your original authorization. Report the change to your DSO promptly and request a revised authorization if necessary.
Does working as a Project Manager on CPT affect my eligibility for STEM OPT later?
Only full-time CPT counts against your OPT eligibility. Twelve or more months of full-time CPT eliminates OPT entirely, including STEM OPT. Part-time CPT at 20 hours or fewer per week does not reduce your OPT or STEM OPT eligibility regardless of how long it runs. STEM OPT also requires that your employer be enrolled in E-Verify, which is separate from your CPT authorization.
