Entry Level CT Technologist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level ct technologist job?
Entry level ct technologist positions typically require ARRT certification or eligibility, completion of an accredited radiologic technology program, and demonstrated hands-on clinical hours. At this stage, employers weigh clinical rotation experience, strong patient-handling skills, and familiarity with common CT protocols heavily. Candidates who highlight specific scanner experience, such as multi-slice CT systems, and who carry letters of recommendation from clinical supervisors tend to stand out against other new applicants.
Which companies hire entry level ct technologists?
Companies hiring entry level ct technologists right now include Advocate Aurora Health, Trinity Health, and CommonSpirit Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level covers hospital systems, outpatient imaging centers, and specialty diagnostic clinics that staff regularly to support high patient volume and continuous imaging operations.
Are there remote entry level ct technologist jobs?
Yes, though the field is largely hands-on and facility-based. About 0% of entry level ct technologist openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with remote opportunities more common in imaging quality review, teleradiology support, or administrative coordination roles that sit alongside direct patient care positions.
Are these new grad ct technologist jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior ct technologist roles. A posting is typically new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts ARRT registry eligibility in place of full certification, or counts clinical rotations and internships toward its experience requirement. Reviewing those details in each listing helps new grads identify where they are a genuine fit.
Which industries hire the most entry level ct technologists?
Entry Level ct technologist roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Education, and Insurance, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Those sectors drive entry level hiring because they operate high-volume imaging departments, maintain rotating shift schedules, and consistently need qualified staff to fill gaps created by credentialed technologists advancing into senior or specialty roles.
