Mid Level Curriculum Coordinator Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level curriculum coordinator job?
Position your experience around ownership, not just participation. Highlight curriculum projects you led from design through implementation, any cross-functional collaboration with instructors or subject-matter experts, and measurable outcomes like learner performance improvements or course completion gains. Tailor your resume to show you can work independently, and use your cover letter to connect your instructional design or curriculum development expertise directly to the employer's learning goals.
Which companies hire mid level curriculum coordinators?
Companies hiring mid level curriculum coordinators right now include Savvas Learning Company, University of Oregon, and Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a mix of K-12 school districts, higher education institutions, corporate learning and development teams, and education technology organizations that need coordinators who can manage projects with real autonomy.
Are there remote mid level curriculum coordinator jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and sector. About 24% of mid level curriculum coordinator openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with corporate L&D and ed-tech roles offering the most location flexibility. K-12 and higher education positions tend to require more on-site presence, particularly when coordinators oversee classroom pilots or work directly with teaching staff.
How do I move up to a mid level curriculum coordinator role?
The path from entry level to mid level is built on deepening your instructional expertise and expanding your ownership. Early-career coordinators who take on full project cycles, develop measurable assessment frameworks, and earn credentials like instructional design certifications position themselves for mid level opportunities. Consistent contributions that show up in learner outcomes and curriculum quality, rather than just task completion, are what hiring managers look for when promoting or selecting for this level.
Which industries hire the most mid level curriculum coordinators?
Mid Level curriculum coordinator roles concentrate in Education, Technology & Software, and Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they maintain large, evolving curricula that require experienced coordinators capable of managing updates, aligning content to standards or business goals, and supporting instructors without constant supervision.
