Entry Level Customer Insights Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level customer insights analyst job?
Employers at this level look for candidates who can demonstrate comfort with data tools like Excel, SQL, or Tableau, even through coursework or personal projects. A portfolio showing a real analysis, a survey you designed, or a class project where you turned data into a recommendation gives you a clear edge. Internship experience in market research or consumer analytics is valuable, but a well-presented project can carry similar weight for new grads.
Which companies hire entry level customer insights analysts?
Companies hiring entry level customer insights analysts right now include Philo, DaVita, and TikTok, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a broad range of employers, including consumer brands, technology companies, retail organizations, and market research firms looking to build out junior analyst capacity.
Are there remote entry level customer insights analyst jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and industry. About 36% of entry level customer insights analyst openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, making this one of the more flexible roles for candidates who need location independence. On-site positions remain common, particularly at consumer goods companies and agencies where team collaboration on research projects is a regular part of the work.
Are these new grad customer insights analyst jobs?
Yes. These listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior customer insights analyst roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internship work or academic projects as qualifying background, or explicitly mentions a portfolio in lieu of a long work history. If a role lists a bachelor's degree and foundational tool skills as the core requirements, it is designed for someone entering the field.
Which industries hire the most entry level customer insights analysts?
Entry Level customer insights analyst roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Retail, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they rely on continuous consumer feedback, market sizing, and behavioral data to inform product and marketing decisions, creating steady demand for junior analysts who can support research operations and synthesize findings.
