Entry Level Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level cyber threat intelligence analyst job?
Employers hiring at the entry level look for candidates who can demonstrate hands-on skills even without a long work history. A portfolio showing malware analysis, OSINT research, or threat reports built through coursework, capture-the-flag competitions, or personal labs carries real weight. Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, along with a degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field, gives candidates a strong foundation for their first role.
Which companies hire entry level cyber threat intelligence analysts?
Companies hiring entry level cyber threat intelligence analysts right now include JLL, ID.me, and Google, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a mix of defense contractors, financial institutions, managed security service providers, and large technology firms that run dedicated threat intelligence teams and bring in junior analysts to grow.
Are there remote entry level cyber threat intelligence analyst jobs?
Yes, though on-site roles still make up the majority at the entry level. About 14% of entry level cyber threat intelligence analyst openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting that many employers prefer new analysts to train alongside senior team members in person before working independently from home.
Are these new grad cyber threat intelligence analyst jobs?
Yes, the openings on this page include new grad, recent graduate, and junior roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or co-ops toward that requirement, or accepts a strong portfolio in place of full-time history. Searching for junior or new grad titles alongside entry level helps you find the full range of openings suited to candidates starting out.
Which industries hire the most entry level cyber threat intelligence analysts?
Entry Level cyber threat intelligence analyst roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Banking & Financial Services, and Artificial Intelligence, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026.
