Partner directly with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, data-driven deliverables that support enterprise-level strategy and executive engagement. Mentor junior team members and coordinate resources to ensure timely, high-quality output.
Responsibilities
Independently own and deliver end-to-end analytics projects, including requirements gathering and data sourcing through modeling, visualization, and stakeholder presentation—with minimal oversight
Design, build, and maintain Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and automated reporting pipelines leveraging SQL, Python, and Snowflake to support executive-level decision-making
Serve as a primary point of contact for business stakeholders across Capital Markets functions, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
Identify material gaps in source data and develop scalable solutions to resolve inconsistencies, with a focus on long-term automation over manual workarounds
Expand, refine, and maintain the team's reporting portfolio to meet evolving business needs
Coordinate with team members to distribute workstreams, ensure quality standards, and maintain production reporting timelines
Mentor and develop junior analysts by providing technical guidance, code review, and structured feedback on deliverables
Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data architecture, and build reusable infrastructure across the team's analytics stack
Conduct ad hoc analyses and support special projects as needed to advance Capital Markets, Product & Business, and Counterparty Engagement objectives
Experience/Knowledge
Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related function, preferably within financial services, investment management, or capital markets. 5+ years preferred; exceptional candidates with 3+ years will be considered
Demonstrated ability to independently lead projects from scoping through delivery with minimal direction
Experience working with large, multi-source datasets and translating complex data into executive-ready reporting
Skills:
Fluency in SQL, including stored procedures, CTEs, temp tables, and query optimization across relational databases (SQL Server, Snowflake)
Advanced Power BI skills: semantic modeling, DAX, Power Query (M), data pipeline design, and performance tuning
Python or R proficiency: data manipulation, automation, and integration with enterprise data sources (e.g., Bloomberg, Aladdin extracts)
Strong stakeholder communication skills. The ability to present data-driven findings to senior leadership and cross-functional partners clearly and confidently
Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to recognize anomalies in data and their implications for the business
Ability to think critically, ask the right questions, and drive solutions with a bias toward action
Effective time and project management skills; able to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with AI tools and agents. The ability to leverage AI to accelerate workflows while applying independent judgment to validate, refine, and contextualize outputs
Formal Education:
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field required

Data Analytics Manager Jobs in Atlanta: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a data analytics manager job in Atlanta?
Focus your search on Atlanta's three strongest hiring sectors: financial services firms in Buckhead, health systems and payers in Midtown and the medical corridor, and enterprise technology companies anchored along the Perimeter. Candidates who combine SQL and Python proficiency with experience presenting to non-technical stakeholders stand out locally. Targeting mid-size fintech and insurtech companies growing in Atlanta can also accelerate a move into management faster than large legacy employers.
Which companies hire data analytics managers in Atlanta?
Employers hiring data analytics managers in Atlanta right now include The Home Depot, HD Supply, and 4P Consulting, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Atlanta's market includes a mix of Fortune 500 headquarters, regional health systems, and a fast-growing base of fintech and logistics technology companies, all of which maintain in-house analytics teams.
Are there remote data analytics manager jobs in Atlanta?
Yes, data analytics manager roles are well-suited to remote and hybrid arrangements because the core work is desk-based and output-driven. About 69% of data analytics manager openings tied to Atlanta are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, which is above average for management-level positions. Strategy, reporting, and stakeholder communication work tends to be the most remote-friendly, while team oversight and cross-functional project work typically draws Atlanta-based managers in at least part-time.
How can I get a data analytics manager job in Atlanta with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Atlanta is moving from a senior individual contributor role, such as data analyst or business intelligence analyst, within a company that promotes internally. Atlanta's large health insurers, payment processing firms, and logistics companies regularly develop analysts into leads before promoting to manager. Building familiarity with tools common in Atlanta's market, including Tableau, dbt, and Snowflake, and taking on cross-functional project leadership within your current role sharpens your candidacy significantly.
Which industries hire the most data analytics managers in Atlanta?
Most data analytics manager openings in Atlanta sit in Technology & Software, Insurance, and Distribution & Wholesale, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Atlanta's position as a hub for payments and financial technology, a major health insurance and hospital market, and a growing enterprise software base makes those sectors the primary engines of local analytics hiring.
