Job description:
Anacomp is a leading document and records management company providing technology-based solutions to federal agencies and commercial customers to improve business processes, reduce costs and achieve information security and governance.
The Data Analyst serves as a liaison between the business and our customer. With limited supervision this position is responsible for developing and analyzing metrics, creating reports and recommendations for improving procedures and systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Develops and analyzes metrics, performance measurements, requirements, reports and recommendations related to management, organizational structure, policy/procedures and business systems.
- Responsible for importing, cleaning, transforming, validating or modeling data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision making purposes.
- Presents data in charts, graphs, tables.
- Works closely with the Operations and Customer teams to define data requirements for Data Definition Language or Data Manipulation Language SQL commands.
- Responsible for improving data quality and for designing or presenting conclusions gained from analyzing data using statistical tools.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
- Favorable Adjudication for Secret Clearance Level.
- 3+ years of analyst level experience required.
- B.S. in Information Technology, Math or Business field.
- Strong Microsoft SQL skills, executing, creating queries.
- Strong business acumen.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to respond to changing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Expert in use of statistical analysis and data presentation tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
- High integrity and exceptional work ethic.
