We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst, Data Monitoring to join MNTN's Production Operations team.
In this role, you'll help build the analytical foundation that enables MNTN to monitor, measure, and improve the health of our connected TV advertising platform. You'll work with large-scale operational, campaign, account, and product data to develop monitoring solutions, dashboards, and insights that help engineering teams detect issues, improve reliability, and make data-driven decisions.
This role partners closely with Production Operations, Engineering, Product, and Analytics teams to translate complex operational data into actionable insights that improve platform stability and operational efficiency.
- Analyze production, operational, and campaign data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
- Design and build scalable data monitoring solutions that proactively detect issues and improve platform reliability
- Develop dashboards, recurring reports, and self-service analytics that provide visibility into system health and operational performance
- Partner with Engineering and Production Operations to investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend data-driven solutions
- Identify monitoring gaps and implement new metrics and alerts to improve incident detection and response
- Translate business and operational questions into structured analyses, actionable insights, and clear recommendations
- Collaborate across teams to improve data quality, reporting consistency, and operational decision-making

- You consistently deliver accurate, actionable, and high-quality analysis that enables stakeholders to make informed decisions with confidence.
- You take ownership of ambiguous operational problems and independently drive them from investigation through clear, data-driven recommendations.
- You build trusted dashboards, monitoring solutions, and analytical datasets that are scalable, maintainable, and easy for others to use.
- You proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, AI, and modern analytics tools.
- You help establish a data-driven operational culture by delivering reliable insights that improve platform stability and incident response.
What you'll bring
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong SQL skills with experience analyzing large-scale, high-volume datasets
- Experience using Python or similar tools for data analysis, automation, and data transformation
- Experience building dashboards, reporting solutions, and data visualizations for technical and business stakeholders
- Knowledge of database design, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and modern data platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex operational issues
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering and operations teams in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with Apache Spark, BigQuery, or similar modern analytics platforms is a plus
- Experience in AdTech, MarTech, digital advertising, or media is a plus
