Key Responsibilities

- Prepare patients, review health information, and document treatment in patient records.
- Provide oral hygiene education and post-operative instructions as directed.
- Take dental X-rays and maintain required radiography certification.
- Sterilize instruments, disinfect equipment, and follow infection control and safety procedures.
- Maintain dental supplies, prepare instruments and materials, and assist with scheduling and front office duties.
- Assist with dental impressions, study casts, and removable appliances.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Dental assisting education or related experience preferred.
- State of Michigan Dental Assistant certification preferred but will train.
- Required radiography training certification. We can train & provide certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Valid Michigan driver's license.
