What you'll do
- Greet and check patients in and out, and keep the front desk and patient flow running smoothly
- Answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments, and manage the daily schedule
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Enter and submit insurance claims and post payments
- Collect copays and balances and help patients with payment arrangements
- Run the recall system to keep patients current on their visits
- Handle patient questions and small issues with warmth and patience

- Reliable and punctual — the front desk depends on it
- Genuinely warm and patient-focused, including on a busy phone
- Comfortable with numbers, payments, and insurance details
- Organized and able to juggle several things at once

- Familiarity with Dentrix Dental software
- Working knowledge of dental insurance and claims
