INTRODUCTION
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is building the next-generation cloud platform that powers mission-critical workloads for enterprises worldwide. OCI combines the elasticity and economics of the public cloud with enterprise-grade performance, security, and reliability. The SPLAT organization is responsible for building foundational platform capabilities that enable OCI services to scale efficiently, operate reliably, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. We develop throttling and control-plane platform used by multiple OCI services for API traffic management, distributed throttling and safe-change enforcement that power Oracle's cloud infrastructure.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer to drive the architecture, design, and development of highly scalable cloud infrastructure systems. In this role, you will lead complex technical initiatives across multiple teams, influence OCI-wide engineering strategy, and solve some of the most challenging problems in cloud computing at hyperscale. You will work closely with engineering leaders, architects, product teams, and operations organizations to build resilient services that support millions of customers and critical enterprise workloads globally.
