The candidate selected must obtain and maintain a security clearance at the TS/SCI with polygraph level. Upon start, the selected candidate will be sponsored for a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

On a "typical" day, our engineers may dive deep to find the root cause of a customer issue, investigate why a metric is trending in the wrong direction, or discuss radical new approaches to automate operational processes. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 1+ years of contributing to new and current systems architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience
- 5+ years of software development experience in lieu of degree
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience with Java, C#, Python or other programming language(s)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's Degree in in Computer Science / Engineering, Mathematics or another or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience in large-scale data processing systems or distributed systems
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical design
