Global Head of Partnerships & Alliances
Location: San Francisco Bay Area , US
Type: Full-time
Job Summary
eClerx is seeking a visionary, entrepreneurial, and growth-oriented Global Head of Strategic Partnerships & Alliances to scale our industry partnership ecosystem and establish a high-performing revenue channel. In this role, you will own the end-to-end global partner strategy- identifying, structuring, and maximizing value from high-impact alliances (e.g., Databricks, Adobe, Anthropic, hyper-scalers, and key industry-specific platforms).
As a key bridge-builder, you will work cross-functionally with eClerx technology, service line, and business unit leaders to co-create tailored, data-driven Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies. You will collaborate with global sales team to relentlessly execute and monetize the partnership channel
Responsibilities
- Partner Strategy & Monetization: Define and execute the global roadmap for eClerx’s strategic industry partnerships. Turn existing and new alliances into robust, predictable engine-rooms for net-new revenue growth, sourcing, and influenced pipeline.
- Governance & Executive Sponsorship: Build deep, multi-threaded operational relationships with partner stakeholders, from alliance managers to product and field sales leadership. Act as the executive face of eClerx within the partner ecosystem.
- Co-Selling & Field Execution: Align eClerx’s global sales teams with partner field organization reps to uncover new opportunities, map accounts, navigate complex sales cycles, and win major enterprise deals.
- Co-Marketing & Field Visibility: Drive top-of-mind awareness within partner networks by directing joint marketing initiatives, securing partner competencies/awards, orchestrating flagship event presence (e.g., tech summits), and building compelling client success stories.
- Channel Metrics & Insights: Implement structured KPI tracking to measure channel productivity, including partner-sourced pipe, conversion velocities, certifications achieved, and overall channel ROI.
Eligibility Requirements
- Proven Alliances Track Record: 12+ years of progressive leadership experience managing strategic alliances, partner networks, or channels within global IT services, consulting, or specialized digital BPO enterprises.
- Revenue & Value Impact: Proven history of building a partnership channel from the ground up or scaling an existing portfolio into a multi-million-dollar revenue driver with measurable sourced/influenced pipeline.
- Deep Ecosystem Familiarity: Strong, existing network, relationships and operational familiarity within critical enterprise tech ecosystems - specifically modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) or customer experience/digital marketing clouds (e.g., Adobe stack).
- Matrix Influence & Collaboration: Exceptional capability to influence internal business leaders, product heads, and tech teams without direct authority to construct unified, scalable GTM execution.
- Strategic & Commercial Acumen: Adept at negotiating complex corporate partner agreements, structuring referral/reseller frameworks, and translating highly technical concepts into clear, domain-specific business outcomes.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Industry Network and Representation: Skilled at representing the organization in strategic forums, partner councils, and executive reviews.
- Work Authorization: Valid work authorization in the US.
These will help you stand out:
- Experience in technology services, cloud platforms, SaaS, PaaS, or digital transformation organizations.
- Exposure to strategic alliances, partner ecosystems, and partner-led delivery models.
- Understanding of emerging trends in AI, data modernization, and enterprise technology transformation.
- Proven ability to drive market growth through innovative offerings, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem collaboration.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.
- Highly collaborative and influential in complex environments.
- Commercially driven with strong deal-making capability.
- Structured and methodical in building scalable partnership models.
- Credible technology partner with strong ecosystem understanding.
