Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as an AI Product Manager
Frame your AI credentials for U.S. employers
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees are accepted as equivalent to U.S. four-year degrees for E-3 purposes. Pair your degree with a clear record of AI product ownership, roadmaps, model deployment decisions, cross-functional team leadership, so your specialty occupation case is airtight before you apply.
Target companies with existing LCA filing history
Search the DOL's public Labor Condition Application disclosure data to find companies that have filed LCAs for Product Manager roles. These employers already understand the E-3 process and are far less likely to withdraw an offer over sponsorship uncertainty.
Clarify the E-3 process before your offer stage
Many U.S. hiring managers conflate E-3 with H-1B visa and assume a lottery is involved. Before negotiations close, confirm your visa type requires only a certified LCA and a consulate appointment, not a lottery slot, so the offer doesn't stall on a misunderstanding.
Get your LCA certified before booking your appointment
The DOL must certify your employer's LCA before you can schedule your consulate interview. Don't book travel or give notice at your current job until certification is confirmed, since LCA reviews can take seven to ten business days and occasionally trigger an audit.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for end-to-end preparation
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork, from prevailing wage determination through consulate preparation. This is especially useful for AI PM roles, where the specialty occupation justification requires precise job duty documentation.
Search E-3 sponsorship roles on Migrate Mate
Find AI Product Manager jobs with confirmed E-3 visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate, which filters roles by employers open to Australian nationals. This saves you from applying to positions where sponsorship is unavailable or where the role won't qualify as a specialty occupation.
E-3 Visa AI Product Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I find AI Product Manager jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to search for AI Product Manager roles where employers are open to E-3 sponsorship for Australian nationals. Standard job platforms rarely filter by visa type or flag which roles qualify as specialty occupations, so you can spend significant time applying to positions that won't support an E-3 application.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does an AI Product Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as computer science, engineering, or information systems. Roles that accept any degree regardless of field, or that don't require a degree at all, can fail the specialty occupation test. Your job offer letter and the LCA both need to reflect the specific educational requirement clearly.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for AI Product Manager roles?
The E-3 has no annual cap and no lottery, so your application moves on your timeline rather than depending on a randomised selection. H-1B has an 85,000-slot annual cap with a lottery that rejects roughly 75% of registrants in competitive years. For Australian nationals, the E-3 is a direct path to the same kind of employer-sponsored full-time role without the lottery risk.
Can I switch employers after starting work on an E-3 as an AI Product Manager?
Yes, but each new employer must file a fresh LCA and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp if yours was issued for the previous employer. You can begin working for a new employer as soon as the new LCA is certified and you have a valid visa or an approved change of status, but you can't simply transfer your existing E-3 to the new role without restarting the documentation process.
