We are seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.
Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems.
- Performing preventive maintenance requirements.
- Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory.
- Leading teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision.
- Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and Safety Audits.
- Installing and maintaining equipment at both the local and global level per design packages.
- Programming and installation of head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems.
- Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level.
- Leading the on-site software commissioning and testing.
- Leading inspections, evaluations, and inventory.
- Performing take off project drawings.
- Creating, documenting and tracking RFIs.
- Design assist and feedback.
- Documenting daily reports and project progress.
- Communicating project and team member issues/concerns to management.
- Creating and managing project schedule.
- Integration of IDS, ACS and CCTV systems.
- Forecasting and managing project labor hours.
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and subordinates.
- Guiding and mentoring technicians.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Key Requirements:
- Requires a valid driver's license. This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle.
- Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance to our policy.
Education:
- HS diploma or GED.
- Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or
- Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or
- Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program.
- An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
Required Progressive Experience:
- 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs.
- 3 years of the above experience must be focused in electronic security systems.
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
- Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills is a plus.
- Must be able to travel 50%.

Desired / Advantageous Qualifications:
- Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems: CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems, Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systems.

- Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
- Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
- May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
- Tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
- Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
