Company Description
Bridges Academy Austin is a private K-12 school in Austin, Texas, specializing in dyslexia, dysgraphia, gifted/twice exceptional (2e), and other learning differences. The school offers small classes with tailored instruction for each student's needs. For this position, we are seeking an elementary teacher who can teach the core subjects, including reading/language arts, math, and either science or social studies.
Teaching at Bridges Academy Austin allows you to focus on instruction. We meet kids where they are, and we help them move forward. We meet student needs without ARD meetings or IEP paperwork.
Role Description
- Elementary Classroom Teacher (upper elementary)
- Class size of 10
- Full-time, in-person in Austin, TX
- Teach core subjects and provide intervention to students with learning disabilities and giftedness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Teaching certification (out of state is fine)
- Experienced elementary teachers, resource specialists, reading specialists, and special education teachers are encouraged to apply.
- Already live in the US and eligible to work in the US (no visa issues)

Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based instruction and intervention to elementary students.

- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching strategies and curriculum development.
