Field Operations Coordinator Jobs in Boise: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a field operations coordinator job in Boise?
Focus on employers in Boise's utilities, construction, and regional logistics sectors, which consistently post field operations roles across the Treasure Valley. The North End, downtown, and industrial areas near the airport are where operations teams tend to be based. Candidates who come in with hands-on field experience, proficiency in work order management systems, and familiarity with dispatching or scheduling workflows have a clear edge over general applicants in this market.
Which companies hire field operations coordinators in Boise?
Companies currently hiring field operations coordinators in Boise include Hoffman Construction Company, Lam Research, and LotusWorks, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Boise's employer mix leans toward regional utility providers, infrastructure contractors, and distribution operations serving the broader Treasure Valley.
Are there remote field operations coordinator jobs in Boise?
Yes, though field operations coordinator roles are largely on-site by nature given the hands-on coordination they require. About 10% of field operations coordinator openings tied to Boise are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with the remote-eligible work concentrating in scheduling, reporting, and vendor communication functions rather than direct field oversight.
How can I get a field operations coordinator job in Boise with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Boise is through dispatcher, operations assistant, or field technician roles with local utility companies, construction firms, or regional logistics operators in the Treasure Valley. These positions expose you to work order systems, crew scheduling, and field reporting, which are the core competencies employers look for. Boise's mid-sized company environment also means coordinators often move up from within, making an entry-level ops role a genuine stepping stone.
Which industries hire the most field operations coordinators in Boise?
The sectors hiring the most field operations coordinators in Boise are Electronics & Hardware, Manufacturing, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Boise's position as a regional hub for infrastructure buildout and distribution across southern Idaho drives consistent demand in these sectors.
