I opened my agency in 2002 and currently lead a close-knit team of four. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked in State Farm management, giving me valuable experience in leadership and team development. I’m a graduate of Boise State University, married, and a proud father of five. State Farm also runs in the family - I’m the oldest of four brothers, and all four of us are State Farm agents!
Outside of work, I enjoy coaching, motorcycle riding, and cheering on Boise State football. Giving back is also important to me. I’ve spent time coaching Twin Falls youth basketball and remain involved with the Boy Scouts as both an Eagle Scout and volunteer.
Our agency offers health benefits, a Simple IRA, licensing costs paid up front, professional coaching and training, and a strong commitment to work-life balance. We believe in investing in our team and giving people the tools they need to grow and succeed.
Our culture is supportive, development-focused, and built around teamwork. I’m looking for someone who is coachable, hardworking, and trustworthy. If you’re ready to learn, put in the effort, and grow with an established team that will invest in your success, we’d love to meet you.

Service Team Member Jobs in Idaho: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a service team member in Idaho?
Most service team member roles in Idaho require no state-issued license and are open to applicants who are at least 16 years old with a high school diploma or GED. Employers in grocery and retail typically hire directly and provide on-the-job training. Food handler certification through an Idaho-approved provider is sometimes required for roles involving food preparation. Applying directly to large Idaho retailers or food service operators is the most direct path in.
Which companies hire service team members in Idaho?
Employers hiring service team members in Idaho right now include State Farm, Michaels, and ExtraMile, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Idaho's retail and grocery sectors drive a consistent share of these openings, particularly in the Treasure Valley and eastern Idaho markets.
Which Idaho cities have the most service team member jobs?
The cities with the most service team member openings in Idaho are Boise, Eagle, and Wilder. Boise leads because of its size and concentration of big-box retail, grocery chains, and food service operations, while Nampa and Idaho Falls reflect strong retail growth tied to population increases and the large anchor stores serving their surrounding communities.
Are there remote service team member jobs in Idaho?
Yes, but they're rare. Service team member work is almost always hands-on and tied to a physical store, restaurant, or facility, so the vast majority of openings require in-person attendance. About 0% of service team member openings tied to Idaho are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, and those tend to be limited to scheduling coordination or customer support roles within larger retail organizations.
How can I get hired as a service team member in Idaho with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying directly to grocery chains and big-box retailers in the Treasure Valley, which regularly hire first-time workers and train on the job. Albertsons, Walmart, and Costco locations across the Boise and Nampa area run structured onboarding for new hires with no prior retail background. Roles like cart attendant, cashier, and stocker serve as common starting points, and obtaining a food handler card through an Idaho-approved provider gives applicants an edge when applying to food service positions.
