Mid Level Field Property Claims Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level field property claims job?
Position your experience around independent case ownership, not just task completion. Highlight files you handled end to end, coverage decisions you made without escalation, and any complex losses such as large residential or commercial damage claims. A strong adjuster license portfolio and familiarity with estimating platforms like Xactimate signal readiness for mid level responsibility to most hiring managers.
Which companies hire mid level field property claimss?
Companies hiring mid level field property claimss right now include Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, Selective Insurance, and Mercury Insurance Company, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level comes from regional carriers, national insurance groups, and independent adjusting firms that need experienced adjusters who can handle high-severity claims with minimal oversight.
Are there remote mid level field property claims jobs?
Yes, though field roles by definition require on-site property inspections for most positions. About 29% of mid level field property claims openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, typically covering desk-review work, virtual inspections, or supervisory functions rather than hands-on field assignments. Fully remote roles at this level are less common than in other claims disciplines.
How do I move up to a mid level field property claims role?
The path from entry level to mid level is built on demonstrated ownership over time. Early-career adjusters grow by handling progressively higher-severity losses, earning multi-state licensing, and deepening proficiency in estimating tools. Consistently closing files accurately and on schedule, taking on commercial or specialty property assignments, and showing measurable impact on cycle times or settlement accuracy are the benchmarks that signal readiness for a mid level designation.
Which industries hire the most mid level field property claimss?
Mid Level field property claims roles concentrate in Insurance, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026.
