Mid Level Billing Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level billing analyst job?
Position your application around ownership, not just task completion. Highlight billing cycles you managed independently, discrepancies you resolved without escalation, and process improvements you initiated. Emphasize familiarity with ERP or billing platforms like NetSuite or SAP, and frame your experience around accuracy metrics, revenue impact, and cross-functional collaboration with collections, AR, and finance teams.
Which companies hire mid level billing analysts?
Companies hiring mid level billing analysts right now include Jobot, Yale University, and Commure, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Healthcare systems, telecom providers, SaaS companies, and regional utilities tend to maintain the deepest mid level billing teams because of their high transaction volume and regulatory complexity.
Are there remote mid level billing analyst jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid options are widely available at this level. About 47% of mid level billing analyst openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how effectively experienced analysts manage billing cycles, client communications, and system work without being on site. Fully remote roles are most common at technology and insurance employers.
How do I move up to a mid level billing analyst role?
Progression into mid level typically comes from building ownership over full billing cycles rather than individual tasks, demonstrating accuracy under volume, and showing you can resolve exceptions independently. Analysts who deepen their ERP proficiency, take on month-end close responsibilities, and document process improvements tend to earn mid level consideration faster than those who stay in a task-execution mode.
Which industries hire the most mid level billing analysts?
Mid Level billing analyst roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Technology & Software, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors generate high volumes of recurring invoices, contract-based billing, or insurance claims, which creates sustained demand for analysts who can manage complexity and maintain accuracy at scale without constant supervision.
