Overview
We are seeking a hard-working, dedicated Field Service Technician to join our emergency restoration services team! This full-time position involves providing essential support in emergency response situations, assisting with on-site restoration efforts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and quality service delivery. Candidates must be able to pass a background check, possess a current & valid driver’s license, have a clean driving history (Motor Vehicle Record) and be available to work between 35 to 40 hours per week. Starting pay is between $18-$24/hr depending on experience and candidates that have prior experience must be able to provide references.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Field Operations Manager or Lead Technician in responding to emergency restoration projects promptly and efficiently.
- Perform on-site assessments, including basic troubleshooting and damage documentation.
- Perform demo of building materials & support the setup, operation, and maintenance of restoration equipment and tools.
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards during all field activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Complete necessary reports, tech sheets and documentation related to each job site.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized work environment at all times.
Skills
- Valid and current driver’s license is required.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn technical skills related to emergency restoration services.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in dynamic situations.
- Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
