Who's Hiring

Finance Jobs in Raleigh: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a finance job in Raleigh?
Targeting Raleigh's strongest hiring sectors gives you the best shot: regional banks and credit unions, mid-size tech and SaaS firms in the Research Triangle Park area, and life sciences companies headquartered in and around North Hills. Corporate finance and FP&A roles at tech employers are especially active. Candidates who combine CPA credentials or CFA progress with experience in forecasting tools like Adaptive Insights tend to stand out in Raleigh's competitive analytical finance market.
Which companies hire finances in Raleigh?
Raleigh finance roles are posted by Siemens, VALERIS, and Attindas and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. The local employer mix includes regional banks, insurance carriers, healthcare systems, and the finance functions of the Triangle's growing technology and life sciences companies.
Are there remote finance jobs in Raleigh?
Yes, though it depends on the role: analytical and reporting positions are far more remote-friendly than treasury, accounts payable, or audit roles that require on-site presence. About 66% of finance openings tied to Raleigh are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, with hybrid schedules most common. FP&A, financial analyst, and corporate accounting roles at Raleigh's tech and SaaS employers offer the most flexible arrangements.
How can I get a finance job in Raleigh with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Raleigh is targeting junior financial analyst or accounts receivable roles at the Triangle's mid-size tech companies, which hire entry-level candidates more readily than large banks. NC State, UNC, and Duke produce strong local talent pipelines, so internship experience with a Triangle-area employer carries real weight. Starting in a staff accountant or financial operations role at a Raleigh healthcare system or insurer is another common local ladder into corporate finance.
